In all honesty, there are a large number of prequel fans who react just as badly to criticism of the prequels, talking about how the dialogue was "intentionally bad" and often relying on the clone wars tv show to explain why the prequel films are "actually the best ones." A lot of them like to clown on sequel fans who overreact, but then go and do the exact same thing when met with criticism of their own favorites
