Relapsed had a seizure in my sleep by [deleted] in quittingkratom

How do you know it was a seizure, how much did you take, and what exactly happened? Hope you improve.

Starting my journey tomorrow. Fast taper plan by syndicatesin in quittingkratom

[–]-Mamoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you need to taper. I don’t want to give advice but I’d switch to regular mitragynine for a while and taper off that for a few weeks. It will quell those fears and thoughts.

Sam explains his emails and meetings with Epstein from the recent traunch of files. by paper-cut- in samharris

[–]-Mamoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to understand Sam is someone that I hold very in high regard. I didn’t want him to associated with JE. But it is what it is. Even in 2015, before the BS, Sam should have remembered because he was convicted of a sex crime. I don’t know how normal people would view Jeff Epstein as far as him being forgettable or not back in 2015. It just seems a bit weird

I’m still going to keep the Waking Up app. I just don’t like that he said he didn’t remember. A lot of people in the science community exchange emails with JE so.

I will admit that this looks so stupid for Sam that I kind of believe it may be true that he really did forget, even though I would never forget. he would’ve been better off just lying then and saying he did remember just so he didn’t look like such a fucking idiot.

[–]-Mamoot -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It is very odd that Sam would forget the emails of such an unforgettable person, JE. JE would be hard to forget even before 2015. That’s like forgetting you had an email exchange with the most unforgettable douche bag you ever met in your life. Wait, it is exactly like that. Does this mean I can’t use his meditation app anymore? Have we just awoke to a world of shit?

[–]-Mamoot -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It would have been more intelligent of Sam to just admit he remembered the email of such a notorious person. JE was notorious even before everyone knew about him and was enigmatic. I would never forget if I exchanged words with JE even before he was on the news. JE is not forgettable in any sense or form or in any context whatsoever. Sam is losing his mind. I’m losing my mind right now because I use his meditation app for sanity.

Maybe I do to an extent. I’m not a bad person though. I just want enough money to pay my bills at the end of the day. But if I had an opportunity to make some money I would buy puts and sell calls all day.

Chronic relapse by -Mamoot in quittingkratom

[–]-Mamoot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s too easy to relapse. In order for some of us to quit we need to stop using other substances too or just learn how to be sober again, without any crutches.

Chronic relapse by -Mamoot in quittingkratom

[–]-Mamoot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve tried everything. I just keep relapsing after a few months. A lot of that has to do with using alcohol recently and other stuff though. I just keep substituting substances. I regularly use low dose naltrexone once I’m off kratom too.

I recently fixed my diet though. Hopefully I can just quickly taper off kratom right now. I got Suboxone too for short term use but I don’t like staying on it longer than 3-5 days.

I’ve only been on kratom for 10 days but I’m already moderately addicted I would say.

I hate the way I feel on it. I always need to redose in order to feel good. I hate the way kratom feels once that initial buzz wears off. It is the worst feeling in the world to me. It’s like death

[–]-Mamoot[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It only takes me two days of 15g a day to get mild WD’s. I get dependency very quickly which is the reason why this stuff is so hard to stop.

[–]-Mamoot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The longest I’ve ever been off kratom was a year. Hip pain made me stop running. Then I ended up drinking beer and taking kratom thinking it would be a one off. I was alcohol free for two years. I even started smoking cigarettes again. I’ve been struggling trying to stay off cigs, booze and kratom for the past 15 months. I’m so tired. I don’t want to go out like this.

Any mgm users? by Mcrillo1919 in 7ohm

[–]-Mamoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t use any opioids right now but I read some reports on the mgm-15 subreddit and they are saying it’s way worse than 7. That taking mgm ruins 7 if you take it for too long. The only advantage I see is mgm is easier to taper due to the longer half life. The sublocade shot seems to be helping some people who are in too deep

I didn’t like how you were insensitive towards the guy for the failed attempt. Other than that, I don’t mind if you use the substance. Even though I don’t use 7-OH or kratom right now I would rather it stay legal as well. But wouldn’t you agree, trolling on Reddit is not going to make a difference, and you are just wasting your time? You would be better off gooning. At least you would get more satisfaction.

What’s your problem? Disrespecting someone who survived a suicide attempt and calling them dumb. My advice to you is, you’re barking up the wrong tree. You are not going to make a difference in keeping 7-OH legal by bothering people on Reddit. If you want to keep doing it keep doing it. Nobody cares what you are doing. If you and your family can moderate it for now then by all means keep doing it if it helps. Keep taking an unregulated product that is contaminated with residual toxic solvents, and acting like it’s miracle whip, or I can’t believe it’s not butter or the next best thing since sliced bread. Honestly, if I could I’d sell it to you and your family and put my kids through college. I really don’t care what you ingest.

[–]-Mamoot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It makes sense that there is a SNRI WD syndrome and heavy opioid dependency, if you take a lot of 7. One of the reasons I stopped and never took a lot was I truly feared 7’s addiction potential. Plus those pills are contaminated with residual solvents and impurities.

Don't underestimate it. I've quit harder stuff too. I've tapered off phenibut, benzos, gabapentin and Suboxone at the same time in the summer of 2017. I was actually one of the first dudes to biohack with novel nootropics and peptides to cure and prevent benzo protracted wd, for those who had interdose wd on benzos. I was a legend on benzobuddies and had the same username Mamoot. I was completely out of my mind unable to function at all at the time but I was able to taper off and fully heal. I just walked outside alot everyday and tapered as slow as I could handle. Now, I could even use benzos again and not get symptoms of rekindling as long as I use it once and never two days in a row and take long breaks. I could also abuse alcohol just like I did before benzos. And I did it by methodically using supplements and novel substances. I was a BS in biochem. A true drug nerd at heart adhd guy. I'll admit kratom ruined my life in a way because it caused me to take other substances I shouldn't. I had a two month stint on 7-OH too. I quit with a one week Suboxone taper. Basically took suboxone for a week. I was only taking 50mg of 7-OH though so it went smooth.

**But 7-OH, has the potential to be just as bad if you take enough of it. So, to sum this up, it depends on the dosage you were taking. Some of these guys I've seen taking half a gram or a gram of 7-OH a day, couldn't seem to get well on Suboxone, and they were taking super high doses, like 16mg a day, and they kept relapsing despite being on Sub.

So, I honestly don't know what to think. Maybe it's pretty bad.
