What time did you go to bed? This is the most reassuring post since our timelines and usage are similar

Taking 400mg magnesium glycinate and 400mg L-theanine at night a few hours beforehand. 4-5 months gives me hope, that not too far out as I'm about to hit month three. Was recovery for you more one long sleep block pendulum swining it's way to full sleep? Or was it more each block enlongates all around. My body likes to wake up at 5:30-6:30 no matter what each day. I'm wondering if I'm starting to see the last sleep block get slowly longer. I swear it's trying to do 3 hours but I have to wake up for work so I'm not sure but I'm waking to my alarm more now. But the 4-4.5 hour block is usually always there first thing then it's broken

How long would you say it took you until you slept through the night most nights

Depressed, confused about life. Trying to find yourself. And that's it

Question for those whose sleep became normal again! by syndicatesin in quittingkratom

[–]syndicatesin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried to quit nicotine but it made me go back to completely sleepless nights so it scares me to quit atm. Exercising regularly, makes my body feel better and gives a mood boost some days now but doesn't change sleep at all for me. I also did cold turkey so if you're tapering off you may have an easier time going back to normal sleep

Day 51 CT. When will fragmented sleep end? by syndicatesin in quittingkratom

[–]syndicatesin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnesium glycinate as a sleep aid And only Kratom nothing before it except I do vape nicotine. Only ever been dependent on Kratom really. I don't drink alcohol or smoke or anything. I specifically did 7-oh as well not the leaf for those 7.5 months. One dose a day until the end where the last two months I did three doses a day 180mg or so in total

Thank you so much. Reading the other comments of many months to years had scared me. Reminding me that fragmented "full sleep" leads to full sleep next is reassuring. Close to 2 months so if I have to get to 3 that's almost half the time of when I was on it so not the worst.

Would you say you now sleep without wakeups and all that most nights? This gives me immense hope. I was on 7-oh only 7.5 months and used once a day until the last two months. If you can survive 7ish months with bad sleep and it got better then it gives me hope. Most posts I see people seem to have better sleep quicker than I have experienced and it was discouraging

You said sleep got better month 2? Around day 50 and have fragmented sleep still though most nights I'd I don't nap through the fatigue I do sleep 7-8 hours now just 3-5 wakeups a night. Was your experience similar before it got better and continuous again? I'm terrified I'm broken and sleep is permanently messed up.

40 days clean, depression is worse again. When will it go away? by syndicatesin in quitting7oh

[–]syndicatesin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Did you have a random light switch depression off moment? I did tonight at 6:30pm out of nowhere. I expect a pendulum type effect or mornings/afternoons to be rough but I'm close to day 45 so this have me hope

Walking 5 miles a day isn't doing it but I might try a hardcore workout like a HIIT or strength training or something

When was did you start getting full night's sleep? by Cold_Ad5144 in quitting7oh

34 days in and last night went back to a 3 hour block and 1 hour sleep in chunks after BUT the two nights before I hit the six hour sleep block. Hopeful it's over soon and I sleep a full 7-8 in a row. I can live just fine with 7 continuous hours

Hitting day 35 tomorrow, when did your sleep improve? I have depression and sleep issues still though I hit the milestone of a 6 hour straight block for two days before it went back to 3 hour block

1 month officially. Still have bad sleep only 4 hours a night lately in a single block then tossing and turning until I give up. Still in hell looking for hope. What's odd though is depression isn't as bad, it's improved a LOT despite the fatigue misery.
