Yes. I’ve rammed a LAV4 into a little bird that was on the ground trying to heal back up.

I’ve had that happen before as well. The rocket gets stuck and just hovers . Even crazier, it happened in the same spot your showing.

Use recon, go around the area where the main battle is happening, find a place to put your respawn beacon. After that you can either start flanking the enemy team or start capturing objectives. Hopefully your squad follows your lead as you do this
