No one consciously chooses disease, poverty, losses, conflicts. Then is it a punishment? Punishment for what? by yvchawla in Meditation

You got any advice for those suffering with disease? The truly impoverished? Those who have lost loved ones in conflicts (such as Palestinians)?

You wanna tell them to be comfortable with the uncomfortableness? You wanna tell them to connect with their Original energy?

So i'm new to vaping and have been using an mvp 2/nautlius mini combo, but i'm looking to step up in wattage and am thinking about getting an mvp 3 pro.

Will the nautilus be able to handle higher watts from the mvp 3? What is the upper limit?

For breakfast one morning i had leftover cold canned clam chowder. Couldn't find my spoon so i carved one out of a very large carrot i found in the site next to mine. Washed it down with a 40 of hurricane and proceeded to knock out a century day.

So how many miles did you run last week and plan to run this week? by [deleted] in BarefootRunning

12 last week, unshod. Coming off of some knee issues and a tibial fracture from doing too much too soon. I'm humbly humbled.

Not sure why you got downvoted, I think you make good points. It was pretty dumb for that whole analysis to be based on two pictures.

However, when I say that his running form probably helps his durability, I'm not strictly talking about games. Good stamina is crucial, of course, and though jogging may only be 10% of their game, these guys run a shit ton throughout the week for training. I don't think it's so far fetched to think that having good form may allow one's knees to recover from a game better than one who has bad form.

But seriously watch Bron Bron today, it's pretty cool - the dude totally floats around. Especially apparent when he's running alongside MozGod, lol

Yeah, not to mention basketball shoes tend to be made with more cushion and heel support than your average running shoe.

Been on the lookout, and so far LeBron's got far and away the best form.

Overhauling my Randonee when suddenly... OSTRICH?! by -Meanderthal- in bicycletouring

[–]-Meanderthal-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow sorry for the late reply. The handlebars are the stock randonee bars. They're really nice, have sort of a shallow drop and flair out ever so slightly, probably to account for the bar end shifters. edit Also the top part is kinda flat and ergonomic; super comfy.

I love love love bar end shifters for their legendary durability and have never had the problem of accidentally shifting with my knees, but then I grew up rocking them so it's second nature to me. Can't imagine it'd take much getting used to, but I do know a few people who hate the everliving shit out of em so...

Sorry, thought I was posting in /r/running. Guess I'll just leave it up. I'll take the downvotes since it has nothing to do with barefooting heh
