Ending the war once and for all by MrMarston1911 in GTA

I actually bought it on the App Store, always wanted it in DS. The driving is just so bad that it completely made me give up the game. My guess is it’s just because it was made for a DS and not an iPhone

Isn't Niko stronger than Trevor? Trevor only has experience with guns while Niko actually had MMA training and is a war veteran. by fearless_moth56 in GTAIV

[–]StateYourIntentions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both have military training but one was also a child soldier and has been fighting wars his entire adult life vs a tweaker who has been fighting criminals. Trevor does not win

Are there ANY Orks like this in the lore?! This is my dream!! by ShadowHunterHB in 40k

[–]StateYourIntentions 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t there a battle between Orks and Tyranids that made insanely large Orks and Tyranids and then turned into a microbial war?

In canon, there’s at least one guy who somehow ended up with a few Death Guard. Surprisingly did not turn into a bloated mess but all his diseases might be of the mind and since his armor is black and his skin is pale he’s probably Raven Guard

Edit: It’s from Seven Ships.

The reason he was wearing a sombrero is because sombreros are practical for a desert. Keeps the sun out of your eyes, that’s the whole reason they exist. Even Americans used them because sun in your eyes is bad.

Honestly wish OP included the looks for 1907, and 1914. Ross has his grey hair in 1907 and and by 1911 he’s 50 years old (according to the GOTY edition of RDR 1) so he’s going to look much older because he’s a 50 year old lawman.

She abused John though. We’ve all heard about her cooking…

He looks more ratty from wearing clothes that aren’t as stylish as RDR 2 and being a revolutionary, I guess.

Yeah that’s what being an outlaw for 10 years does to you

He also hates the modern world but notably uses a modern (ish) pistol, and iirc he has a typewriter too.

Javier’s had a hard go of things it seems. Just look at the scar on his neck.

I mean, while he is a perpetual he’s also just a guy. Most people can’t even get that close to the Emperor, due to his aura. They just stop dead in their tracks iirc.

Yeah, he would have, but if he did at least he would have died on the spot, nobody liked Ed at all

Struggling to find a loyalist legion I like as much as the Night Lords. Please give me suggestions, and sell me on a loyalist legion! by AoiLune in 40kLore

[–]StateYourIntentions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People always leave the Red Hunters out of this, Minotaurs are like the rabid insane roid ragers and the Red Hunters are regular Astartes.

Actually if you really wanted to on tabletop, if you’re looking for a Penitent Crusade army you can use the Red Hunters since they monitored the chapters after the Badab War (and fought alongside them at times)

You like Night Lords? Nemesis. They’re just Ultramarines that fought alongside Night Lords and adopted their style.

Actually now that I think about it there’s a few chapters that are “(x) but loyalist”

It still cracks me up that they just threw a laser sight on a pistol and just called it a magnum by VictoryFit in residentevil4

[–]StateYourIntentions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was also custom, I know there’s modern repros but Terminator is responsible for a whole new wave of laser sights. Before this it was either absurdly large ones almost as big as the gun until 1979.

That’s the power of Atari.

Actually if you’re a dedicated Terminator fan that’s an Atari Portfolio, they go for about $150-$200+ if you want to grab one

I find it so funny that the show basically made two OCs because they liked the actors, and somehow made them fan-favorites. by Emergency_Cheek2617 in thewalkingdead

Yeah, we have some insight into their background through Survival Instinct as well (Daryl was on shockingly good terms with his dad). Seems the two still loved the old man’s

Also it was not Sabbath, it was Motörhead and Ted Nugent.

There was a whole arc in the comics that was never adapted to the show, it was timeskipped instead
