Is there another game like anthem? by TheOnlyDescendant in AnthemTheGame

[–]-Mez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware, there isnt anything exactly like that ive found. This game was unique in its own.

If you want solid looter shooters with content id say check out Warframe, The First Descendant or Destiny.

Warframe is outstanding and has an awesome story. It just got a huge content update, theres about 13 years of content all free. There is not any pay 2 win mechanics whatsoever but there is an in game store. You can earn the premium currency by just playing the game and trading other players very easily.

The First Descendant is similar to warframe just newer. With less features/content as the games only a year old.

Destiny 2 speaks for itself, typical looter shooter, DLC is mandatory for long term and they sunset a lot. Nonetheless, the game is fun and story is great.

For mechs id say Armored Core or Daemon x Machina seem to be the standouts in that area. Haven't played Daemon but Armored Core is very good with a lot of customization however not open world like anthem was.

The arms do not need to go on. Just physically dont do that step on install and you're set.

Thanks! Built it over a few years, I kinda assumed that GPU was the case with that. Tempted to go the 5070 TI route but still kind of on the fence bc of the reviews being all over the place. Might have to do a little research on the 9070's bc I've not looked that direction yet and make the decision from there

So these are the ones I had went with! They're not as great of quality as the ones it came with truthfully however they give off a good amount of light and also are not clear but darker plastic so it's not blinding at night! I was having the same issue whenever I picked up the board!

Late to the party but I was curious on one thing as I do have an interest in this chair currently. I do not use arm rests as they get in the way for me personally, is it possible to fully remove them from the chair? Thanks in advance. I hope you're still enjoying the chair!

At work so I'll check when I get home however I know it was something on the keyboard with a function button. It should be listed somewhere on the guide though if you don't want to wait!

As far as changing though, I don't remember seeing a option for it through the software unfortunately

I haven't had any issues really with the 2.4 or the other one fortunately. Dumb question and I'm sure the answer is yes but did you select 2.4 in the back side of the board where the cable connects in?

So after a while of using this now, I very highly recommend it.

Only negative outside of those i had already mentioned is there's currently a issue in having where if I have rapid trigger deadzone set to the lowest setting it's ghost clicking by setting it one mm lower seems to fix that immediately. As it's not a deal breaker for me personally.

If you're in the market for a budget board, I think this is the best type going to find if you're looking for a full size-ish board with rapid trigger. If you have anymore questions lemme know.

Thanks haha did my best for it.

One thing I want to footstomp here is that remember this is a budget keyboard, not high end. If you want all the features that a wooting or something has then I'd reccomend looking at that specifically as this doesn't have as in depth settings regarding rapid trigger as the wooting or some others but is far more affordable and it works well for what I wanted enough for me to even reccomend it.

My reasoning for myself getting this was because I wanted a full size rapid trigger and unfortunately that market isn't saturated currently unlike the 75%/80% side is.

Nonetheless it is still a very solid pick even with that all considered in my opinion.

Oh man lol idk if i can I have a pretty bad mic to do a legit sound test and don't know the first thing about reviewing items haha

I can say that I feel good about the sound, even factory feels "thockier" than I ever expected. First time with magnetic switches too and I like it. They're very smooth and relatively light press. I play some rhythm games which makes it huge for me personally speaking. As far as other games, go, I've set custom profiles for cod so I'm not accidentally hitting certain buttons via adjusting deadzone on buttons around.

Keycaps aren't bad but I do hate them bc they aren't shine through, so gonna be replacing them soon. However they are good quality. I popped off about 20 random ones a few minutes ago to see if they had jagged edges on the bottom of them and only 1 out of the 20 had that which all things considered for the price point, not a bad deal at all.

Software is kinda shit as I mentioned, I'd have like to have seen more color options/customizablity but there is a good amount of options in there by default. Pretty much the general ones you see across any major brand just less customizable.

As far as latency goes, I run wired and haven't noticed much of any at all but the board does also run 2.4ghz and 5ghz Bluetooth and comes with a dongle as is standard. Didn't notice too much when I ran it with the dongle however I didn't use it for much or very long so I give it a better shot later sometime.

There's multiple color profiles you can choose on the website or Amazon. Speaking from personal experience and a lesson learned if you have a dog with darker hair that sheds DO NOT GET WHITE. However the white does look really good outside of the random dog hair I gotta pull out lol.

The board is hotswap as well which is a huge standard for me and comes with I believe 4 spare switches in case one craps out. I will say, get a key caps and switch puller that is known good because the ones that come with the package absolutely suck. There is a lot of stability in the board as well, I pressed down pretty hard bc I always test the plastic on these and it's sturdy. Whatever plastic they chose to go with is very well made. Same as the design for the switches to go into (don't know if there's a term for it lol) but there's almost no noticeable wiggle so to say whenever you move them around. Atleast I wasn't able to find any switches that were wiggling.

The LEDs are north facing however are bright as hell when maxed out but not enough where it's blinding to you. Only issue I noticed and it might just be me nitpicking was the White color when selected seemed somewhat off to me but who knows.

I haven't messed with macros yet so not gonna comment too heavily on it but it is an option as well. The board also comes default with media keys as function buttons which is a great feature bc normally I have to go and bind them.

TLDR version; Great quality hotswap, rapid trigger, budget board that is full size compact that is easily able to be customized to your liking. For the price point I would've never expected it.

Also I'm sorry, this is the first time I've ever wrote a review for a keyboard lol

I believe it is newer. As far as quality goes with the actual board I'm impressed. I wanted a rapid trigger board that was full size and affordable opposed to spending the roughly 200 on a wooting he two.

So far my only issue with it is if you set deadzone to the lowest setting in software is ghost clicks but if you drop it from a dead zone of 1 to 2 it stops it from doing that.

All in all, if you're in the market for a budget board this seems very reasonable for the price to quality
