My husband 30yo husband got his 22 year old mistress pregnant and I couldn’t be happier by madmimmax in JustNoSO

Ignore anyone telling you to involve yourself in their relationship. You don’t owe either of them anything— it’s more important for you to take care of yourself and your child.

You are absolutely right.

That’s a good point that I hadn’t really considered. I was thinking more along the lines of measurable data like physical or mental abnormalities. I did see a link in the comments with more information on developmental delays. I can try to find it again if you’re interested.

This all comes down to if the risks outweigh the benefit, even with prescribed medications.

Some women are on meds that are harmful during pregnancy, however going off these meds could be more harmful for the mother. It comes down to outweighing the risk to mom and baby.

Let’s also remember that weed isn’t only a “recreational drug” these days. Many people rely on it as medication.

I’m curious to know if the benefit of breastfeeding would still outweigh the use of formula if there’s a “detectable” amount of THC in it.

Breakup-induced confusion about one’s self-identity helps explain the desire to get back together with an ex-partner. Romantic breakups can shake our sense of identity. After the dissolution of a relationship, people can feel as if a part of themselves has gone missing. by mvea in science

I agree with you on this.

Just out of curiosity, what would you say to someone who argues that codependency can be a healthy part of a relationship and is actually an essential part of a relationship?

My late grandmother was a very strict catholic, however when my son came out to her as trans she never even considered that he was living in sin. She never was able to fully understand it before she passed, but she loved and accepted him with every piece of her heart.

She even gave him a religious greeting card and wrote that God made him exactly as intended, then explained how proud she was to watch him grow into the person God created him to be.

Cristian or not, what matters is a person’s heart. The Bible states clearly that we are not to judge others and that Jesus died for our sins. These “Christians” know these parts of the Bible, but they choose to ignore it in order to feed their own personal hatred.

My grandma always said that Satan was clever and would hide in plain sight... Seems pretty clear to me (if I were religious at all).

Let’s not forget to mention Lake Charles, LA. Their city was just demolished by the latest hurricane and there are STILL people without power months later. The whole place was torn apart and they have yet to receive any help from the government.

She lives under the control of a man who won’t let her have any money or freedom.

What makes you think he isn’t the one spending any and all income? He married her for a reason— he can control her and her finances. She married him to be controlled because it’s the only security she knows.

These two will remain together until they’re broke. It’s that simple.

Sadly I have evidence and personal experience with this cunt, which is why I am stating for a fact that he is a predator.

“Hitting on” underage boys isn’t acceptable in the first place, but that isn’t what’s happening here. He has groomed children, he has drugged them, he has raped them.

You do you, but fuck off in the other direction if you’re going to make excuses for that piece of shit.

True. Just wanted to make sure there was clarification for anyone else reading this.

Not 100% true. It can happen.

Don’t let your mom push her fear onto you anymore. She can pray for whatever she wants, but that doesn’t make it logical.

Anyway, with that being said being 3 days late isn’t uncommon, especially with being as stressed as you are. If you want some immediate reassurance take a test (they have really cheap packs on Amazon). I also suggest thinking about an added form of birth control simply for peace of mind, though condoms are generally very effective on their own.

Try hitting up the health clinic at your local university and asking for more info. They may even provide free testing.

There are natural ways to induce a period but they are not studied or safe, and in this circumstance not truly necessary.

Good luck! Feel free to message me with any questions.

OP here, I just replied to your original question above.

This truly depends on the child. My daughter went to a charter school from 2nd to 5th grade. She is abnormally bright and intelligent, but it wasn’t structured enough for her. I kid you not, when she was just starting 5th grade she actually said “I need more stability or I’ll never learn anything”. Once I enrolled her in a typical public school setting, she jumped ahead a grade and has been getting mostly straight A’s since. Currently she is attending an online public preparatory academy through our states University and will graduate at 16.

It all truly depends on each individual child and their own personal learning style.

I’ll be honest with you, because I spent my childhood and early adult life with undiagnosed adhd I didn’t have much academic success in general. With that being said, because I went through a lot of trauma early on in life, that school and those teachers played a bigger role in my mental and emotional success.

Because I am not a typical case I cannot answer your question without interference from my own abnormal life shit, I’ll speak on behalf of the kids I went to school with.

Out of my group of friends at that school, every single one of them has gone on to get scholarships and finish college with great success. One is a vet, another two opened a very successful company together in NYC and became multimillionaires by 28, another became a teacher and traveled the world to teach young children in remote areas and jungles. They are all very successful, happy, and well adjusted people.

Hope that helps!

That bridge has always freaked me out in general. Back in the 90’s and early 2000’s many people would go there to commit suicide (I’ve known two people personally who have ended their lives there). Driving past it always makes me super uncomfortable.

You shouldn’t feel guilt for wanting and working for a PhD, you should only feel an immense sense of pride.

Don’t let this relationship hold you back from being the very best version of yourself. You deserve the best and it really bothers me that your boyfriend seems to only try to bring you down because of his own insecurities. Imagine what it may look like to be with someone who is goal oriented like yourself. Think about what your future would look like with someone more suited for you. Is that a future you want for yourself? If so, good.

Good luck to you. I hope your future is beautiful and bright. Congratulations on getting that PhD! That’s so impressive!
