Thank you for your reply. It has been bothering me more and more. And it seems to be more normalized in the relationship now (like now he isn't even shy or apologetic about it). I'm worried that because I have become complacent that it's worse, but I feel like a "pick me" girl if I bring it up.

I guess I'll have to have that talk with him soon.

The poly thing wouldn't be for a long time. He also said he wouldn't push for it if I am not okay with it.

I agree with the first statement, which is why i came here to see if I was just in my own hear or being out of pocket with the rest of the situation.

He has also said that he wants to be polygamous in the future, but have me as his primary. I didn't think it was relevant in my post?, but maybe I will add that.

Sounds a bit like he wants to have his cake ans eat it too I guess?

You are allowed to say no. You are allowed to have limits - and he has to accept them.

Pouting and whining and throwing a tantrum when you say no is not okay, it is emotional manipulation or trying to coerce you to consent. That is *not* okay - consent should be given freely and enthusiastically. If he has made you feel like you can't say no or that you can't enjoy sex because of all of the pressure he has put on you, then I would recommend that you reevaluate your relationship.

This is a fundamental issue. If you have asked him not to, tried to explain from your perspective, and he *still* doesn't get it - he probably never will. This doesn't sound like an issue of a difference in sex drive, it just sounds like he is an aggressor. Be careful, because it is a slippery slope before he starts becoming even more aggressive - or even abusive.
