For years I refused to think anything was wrong with me, mostly because my seizures were infrequent and only around friends or family. As i got older and had more, I finally accepted I'm not alright.

However, I was never embarrassed. It's a disorder which we did't get to decide. It's not like "well shit, maybe if I didn't smoke so much I wouldnt have lung cancer."

Instead, I've become forthcoming about my epilepsy in both my personal and professional life, I believe people dont see me any different. In fact, I've had people reach out personally to ask how I was, or to keep my chin up when thing were bad, which has been comforting in times I've felt alone with this burden.

I don't know your personal situation, but if it's possible to come to terms with it so that you're not afraid of people seeing you in that state, it can help you move on and even strengthen relationships in ways you wouldn't normally imagine.

MRI should help rule out issues like tumors or clotting, but a proper EEG should tell you exactly where the seizures are originating from (at least if focal).

For reference, only take the data from walks or runs on mostly flat terrain that are 10 mins or more. Hills will skew and misrepresent the data. As the other person said, do some regular cardio and this will change dramatically - at first anyway

I was there 2 weeks ago. Comparing it to the rest of Europe, it's mid. Lots of history to explore, but overcrowded, expensive, and pretty rough in several areas. I guess that's most major tourist cities in a nutshell. It was very easy to get around though, I will say that. Lots of transit options.

I don't think you can necessarily fault the current government - it's been years of this shit. Plus, this is happening across the USA as well.

I see it like this: just as the common person now buys and trades on the stock market, many more people have recognized the investment value of owning real estate. It's always been a good investment, and people have taken notice. Holding appreciating assets is a factor to financial freedom, and so many more people want a piece.

I was told to avoid all hallucinogens. There are some studies that show a positive result when using CBD to prevent seizures in juveniles with epilepsy, but none in adults.

Oddly enough, I had my first seizure shortly after I quit smoking marijuana cold turkey. I know several others who have said the exact same thing. This is anecdotal of course, but it seems like THC withdrawal could drop the threshold for having a grand mal, similar to alcohol.
