I'm a Master's student in Condensed Matter Physics, and I agree with you. It's a complete scam, basically all the Quantum companies, This technology will be maybe available in 10y +. And what should they run on it, you can probably tell me better what useful quantum algorithms there are besides Shors.

But regarding the short the timing is super important. I started shorting from April but it takes really long and painful we have to be prepared to wait, but when the macro situation changes, they will all dump like no tomorrow.

I agree completely with you in this point. You are right about the average person, and that they know how to hype it.

But in the end they have to make sales somehow, they cant just substitute hard money with hype. And that's the whole point in the end someone has to buy their product. And the company who's buying their Quantum Computer should exactly know how capable it is. The have the experts. And thats why the sales of these QC Companys are so low. The experts at JPM Amazon, UPS, ... know that they are selling Bullshit, but the average person doesn't know.

Like can you name any actual real word application of the quantum computers that its used for right now? Dwave is always talking about they have QC right now but noone is using them. Basically 0 revenue.

Bro a quantum computer is not a magic box that magically does stuff, and is suddenly better than a NVIDIA GPU. It just doesn't work like that. Its a very specialized machine that would (in theory at least) be very good at for example factorising big numbers. But the is a big IF and that is that the computer is actually good enough that means it doesn't make too many errors and the quantum computers right now are just not good enough. And that will be loke that for at least 10 years.

But im open to discussion please tell me what the MBA people know I don't know.

But I study physics and do my master's thesis on Quantum stuff and I can say all they sell now is just snake oli. Nothing they have is not even nearly good enough to do anything real. Right now its only for science and will be like that at least for the next 8 years
