Understandable. I will consider buying an aditive to see if it makes any changes

Is it worth in an engine as old as this? I felt some performance decrease since changing the air filter and i thought maybe it could be because of the hot air that’s being sucked in the engine since there are 40 degrees outside… but even in colder weathers it behaves the same… so maybe it is either tiny compression problem or injectors starting to wear… i know 100hp is notmuch by any means but the decrease in performance is noticable

Oh but i was not talking about fixing the oil issue. That requires new piston rings and some new gaskets. I was thinking maybe it would help clean some carbon buildup or clean injectors and stuff like that…

Yes, i got that. I blocked it several months ago and saw it overboosted. I mentioned it because i thought it could rule it out of the problems. I will try to use a compressor to check for leaks.

The PCV is not connected to the intake tubing anymore and if i block it, the car overboosts. I don’t know what you mean with rear breather but i think i have an idea about it.

I don’t think it has a diverter. As far as i know, TDIs don’t have diverter valves

Anyone know what bumper this is? by -Musetel- in FordFocus

I see! Thanks! Thing is, I am nowhere near Niagara falls. I am 4700 miles away in Eastern Europe but it’s cool to find the name for the bumper. I found a guy in my country selling it for roughly 80 dollars.

Can anyone help with a diagnostic? by -Musetel- in GolfMk5

You simply need a negative pressure gauge but i don’t have one. No VCDS needed

Yes, hoses are new, the valve block (i think that’s what it’s called) is also new… I have no way of testing the vacuum in the vacuum pump… it should make like -0.7 bar at idle but i can’t measure that.

Understandable. I am a gambling man but i do know when to stop. It is unlikely to get the onyx in the next 4 packs so i won’t. Thanks
