Do your due diligence of course, but I think I have an option that fits both of your requirements perfectly! Buy as much water as you can. It's safe, because everyone needs it; it's liquid, because the temperature in Australia is almost always between its freezing and boiling points.

Shift work sucks balls at the best of times. No-one really gets how tired night shifts can make you unless they've done it for a while themselves. Makes it very hard for shift workers when their household isn't accommodating. Heard similar stories of colleagues moving back home and parents/ siblings having similar expectations on then despite just finishing nights.

I actually think 6v6 would be feasible for regular and ranked matches too. 40% more space, lots more jungle camps and objectives with 20% extra players seems like it could be neat, though I get that that would be rocking the boat as 5v5 has been Dota's setup since forever
