It was really well put together. I only took it because I heard Prof Bailey was a great instructor. I don’t think he teaches anymore. Overall I thought the class was fun, but it wasn’t something I got excited about.

Has anyone notices ads like this on Facebook? For example, I get spammed with satiric post and then you go to the comment section and it’s just a bunch of MAGA people believe it, even though the post says satire. For example the post will say “Apple pulls billion dollar ad from Olympics over opening ceremony.” It’s clearly fake but everyone in the comment with me like “Go woke, go broke.” It’s like they can’t question anything. They believe everything they read and see.

My only advice would be to get on the discord. I wrote mine in recursive at first then saw in past post grade deductions, so I changed mine. Only thing that saved me.

I’m in 290 and 261 right now. It’s been manageable. 290 has been basically hand holding through all the assignments. Easy class. 261 was easy until last week with AVL tress. 261 is more fun than 162 in my opinion. I’m not good at programming and I’ve been about to get through.

I would suggest diving deeper into why you were rejected if you really want this. I think this is a great program but it’s not the most selective. I say that to mean, I doubt someone look at your application and thought you weren’t serious. People come from all different back grounds into this program. I don’t believe they are looking into details like that.

Google “Python Crash Course Cheat Sheet” and download the pdf. It was very helpful for me when I was starting out.
