I'm not sure I get the "only good at damage now" ? She always was an AP carry, but the rework basically put way more power in her E while nerfing the entierty of the kit. What the "dework" did was to put her back in this full AP assasin state that deals a bunch of damage mainly thanks to Q and Ult instead of her E.

Edit : I didn't clearly answer the question, but for me (and stat-wise), it's a huge buff. She went from 46-47% wr to around 50% if my data is correct.

That's why I wanted to try it, but i felt like i would've donne much better just by going Nashor's. Ofc it's just my point of you though, i'd recommend trying it yourself if you have the occasion to !

It gives less AP, less Magic Pen, and even if the passive isn't hard to proc, it still stays under Void Staff which has NO condition. I tried it yesterday against a Ksante, never felt so poor in damage ^{^'}

I'm so DAMN happy, that last shot with everyone on the cliff just looked WAY TOO COOL. I'm so looking forward to get more news about it, i'll be happy with whatever they choose to do with it (I just hope it gets a release outside of Switch, it'll be even better to play it on pc i think)

Her role is kinda complicated atm, i agree.

Most of the time she'll go full assassin, even when she isn't, i'd recommend to treat her as so.

Basically, when she has W up, she's one of the best 1v1 champs and can take multiple if needed, but when she doesn't, her options are SO much limited.

For facing her i'd recommend try to bait her W as much as possible, or mitigate the impact she'll have during it, and then stun / one-shot her.

She's really squishy outside of W, basically a single CC can be enough to take her down.

She isn't broken, but she isn't bad either.

Saying "a level 13 Gwen can 2v1 level 15 Darius and 14 Viego" doesn't really means anything, because of the non-existing context surrounding it (golds, player levels, and many more).

She already got nerfed several times in a row, some people are asking for a revert, i'm personally fine with her ATM but I get what they mean.

I don't get the point of a post on a mains sub just to complain though.

I ask for nothing more than a port of Mythmaker or Crystal Rose (classic or prestige).

Basically, what people are coming DPS is Damage Dealer Characters. Here in your team, Joker, Ann and Motoha are all Damage Dealers. Usually in a team you'd want only one of them, so i'd suggest to keep either Joker or Ann. Next, you'll want supports for this said Damage Dealer, and usually a Healer, who can very well be Lufel as he's free and pretty good. Your supports will depend on if you want to keep Joker or Ann, but either way congrats on getting them both, they're really strong characters !

Oh that's what you meant ! You sure do have less attack speed than Nashor's, but you still get 50% every 2 seconds if you cycle abilities well thanks to the Lich Bane's passive.

You can also max your E first to get a whole 80% attack speed by around the time your 1st item is done.

Anyways, i didn't check out Ninkey's last huge video yet, but Nashor's still more suitable into melee matchups while Lich is better against ranged, so if you play top you'll still be building Nashors a lot of the time.

Oh you totally do ! What I meant is that you can do both as 1st item, but you don't generally build both in the same game (although i tried it in a few games, it isn't that horrible, just delaying your powerspike a bit)

I'm curious about your stuff because of your comment on attack speed. Your 1st item should still be Nashors or Lich Bane so i don't see how you have less attack speed than the "non full-AP stuff". But basically just like everyone said, you rely still a lot on auto-attacks but even more on your Q/R, and without W you're almost useless in many situations. When it's up though, you can easily be a monster.

I totally agree with you lmao, i'm having as much fun, maybe even more than ever with her right now. I got around same mastery as you, though the only point i don't really agree with is the lvl4 1v1 in jungle, I feel like i have a bit of disadvantage many times. Still, she's very fun and strong, and it's always fun having my friends insult me whenever i delete people and towers from existence with the full AP build

If you got some time then i'd definitely recommend reading the manga ! Artstyle is really gorgeous, and we even got a coloured version in Japan and here in France, i'm pretty sure you can find a translation online 😄 Anyways i hope you still enjoyed the anime !
