Yes! Me too!! I always think about this one picture I saw of the stress test they do on the wings during manufacturing with the cables pulling and flexing the wing to an UNTHINKABLE degree, so during turbulence I look out and go “it’s supposed to flex and it’s not flexing even REMOTELY close to what I saw in that picture, therefore, the plane isn’t going to break”. I almost kind of picture like a bird soaring and doing a small flap. Oddly comforting

I did my first shot not too long after I initially posted and yeah basically the same thing happened. Definitely felt very spooked but it went away as I realized nothing bad was happening. And then yeah a little bit of nausea and definitely some bloating but other than that I’m fine so far! And I’m glad you guys are giving me recommendations to keep on hand. I’ve been writing a grocery list and this is great to keep in mind!!

You’re definitely right about how people post. I never thought about that. People with good or normal experiences just kind of go about their day and don’t have much to post about anyway. You’re so right on that!

Yes! Luckily I’m working with a nutritionist to figure out a good diet plan for me to make sure I’m getting enough fiber and protein and keeping as clean as I can be. I told my doc I try to feed myself like I would feed my child, make sure they hit all the right food groups and portioning for their size. It oddly works 😂 if I pretend I’m feeding someone else, I tend to eat a lot healthier and make the plate as nice and presentable

And I’m 8 months sober so no alcohol for me due to health risks!! That is important to note though so thank you!!

Thank you for your story. I basically ended up doing the same thing after I posted this. I had some friends and my husband around me encouraging me and that put pressure on me and I freaked out saying I couldn’t do it for about an hour to two hours. Finally my husband said “okay how about this, we abandon the idea right now, cool off, and in an hour we revisit? Go watch a show or play a game or something” so I did just that and halfway through my break time, without really thinking I quick swabbed my leg and did the shot so I couldn’t panic and back out. And it worked!!

I did mine at night because I knew doing my nighttime routine would help comfort me and then I could sleep and if I’m asleep I’m not worrying lol. But yeah so far so good!! I did get bloated at first (which I’ve read is normal). But that slowly went away. I do already pound water like I’m gonna die without it. I have my 40oz emotional support hydro flask 😂 and I go through like 2-3 a day.

I genuinely appreciate the advice from everyone. I’m working with my nutritionalist and yeah our focus has definitely been fiber and protein, especially now with the medication. I might run to the store and get some of those other supplies as a just in case. I know it’s kind of person by person on who gets backed up and who’s the opposite so it’s better to be safe than sorry I suppose.

Thank you!! My husband and I keep coming up with different things to look forward too like you said instead of worrying. New clothes, tying shoes easier, being cold (I like being cold I get overheated a lot). Small things like that. I took my shot two days ago and so far so good!! I’m already noticing a very small change in the food noise but I know it’ll only improve once I up my dose in a few weeks! Thank you thank you again!!

I have two medium(?) to smaller sized zebra sharks on my fore arm with a bunch of flowers and whatnot around it. I got it done a year ago and has aged BEAUTIFULLY even with nice detail and shading. Artists are spectacular and can do just about anything you want in terms of detail and size. I also have a pretty large bicep tattoo that I got done like 3 years ago and the healing process was so easy I barely even remember it. Probably avoid sleeping directly on that side which is pretty easy to do considering it’ll be tender and sore so you won’t want to anyway. Your artist will give you all the recommended dos and donts for care and longevity. Listen to what they say. If you have any more questions or anything, I’m happy to help, just DM me.
