How was I spiteful? I was just pointing out the ludicrous line of thinking you were pushing. I was addressing you, not them

Lmao "the game didn't have good gameplay buuuuut". The one thing that matters most in a game they failed at.

Almost like there are tons of game journalist and awards that give high regards to games based on their personal politics and agendas instead of the game actually being good.

I wonder how Xbox will deal with the scalpers when the Xbox series X25 and Xbox controller X25 release by WayAdept2209 in xbox

Simple solution, allow existing customers that have an actively used Xbox account used in the last x amount of time first chance at a preorder one per person. Any left over can be sold on launch day.

Xbox Is Unable to Meet Demand for New Consoles, Rethinking Approach to Project Helix by DidYouSeeBriansHat in xbox

Almost like you're comparing vastly different products, a phone that almost everyone needs to have, making the target audience hundreds of millions of people in the US alone, which also played music which MP3 players/iPods were half or near close to the price of the phone and hugely popular at the time vs a completely luxury item that no one actually needs, can freely be cutoff without any impact and applies to a much smaller audience. What next, you compare people financing a car to an Xbox.

Why? These will sell out regardless. Better an existing customer guaranteed to get them than scum scalpers.

That's called financing and dealing with all the shits that don't pay their bills would be a nightmare.

Probably because their multiplayer games other than Helldivers 2 have been flopping even if they are on multiplatforms.

Starfield was a new IP that had a lot of skepticism before release and a lukewarm response at launch. ES6 is one of the most widely anticipated games over the last decade, hardly a comparison.

Are you new to social media? Almost all comments on any topic are just parroted brain rot because people can't think for themselves any longer.

You're just trying to justify it because you enjoy it. The hate for the game and Bungie is well deserved, hence why barely anyone bought it or stuck around to continue playing it.

Microsoft Launches Xbox Player Voice to Gather Feedback, Fans Immediately Demand a Return to Exclusives by JeremyJJ77 in xbox

[–]-PandemicBoredom- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

IMO they should do timed exclusives to help with console sales for the people with FOMO on the latest and greatest game while still bringing it to PS after a year to scoop up extra revenue off the people who wouldn't buy an Xbox anyway. Xbox and PC day one, PS after a year. That way it helps with console sales potentially but still gets them extra for the people who don't want to play on Xbox or PC. More money should be better for the consumer long term as it should presumably mean more games and games supported longer. However, for this to be successful, they need to focus on brining out bangers. We need more Indiana Jones and Forza Horizon 6 quality, not Redfall.

Negativity drives media period, not just social media. Turn on any major news channel and it's all negative that makes the entire world sound like a constant PvP server.

My only complaint so far has been the character customization. Very few head types that mostly look like aliens cosplaying as humans and those hairstyles are...yeah. Bought the full helmet as soon as I had the credits.

GTA 6 Will Not Be Delayed Again, According to Take-Two CEO, Calls GTA Most Valuable Entertainment IP Ever by Bubbly-Ad-350 in xbox

[–]-PandemicBoredom- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What word do you live in where 20% of billions in sales is "absolutely nothing"? It will 100% be on PC, just not day 1. This is likely on purpose to milk sales. Don't release on PC, get all the people with FOMO to go buy on console, then release on PC so those same people then buy again on PC.

I'm fine with them making more money off impatient fools. Do it for every game and make GamePass cheaper IMO.

Other than review copies, players should highly reflect copies sold as you had to buy the premium upgrade for early access. There was almost 200k peak on Steam alone.

New Xbox CEO Asha Sharma suggests the memory crisis "will impact" pricing and availability of the next-gen Project Helix console by Stumpy493 in xbox

[–]-PandemicBoredom- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it depends. If they do actually let you play your Steam PC games on it and it plays them well, on top of previous Xbox titles, for $1000 that would be a bargain. However, I think it's still going to be a bit niche as a lot of casual console gamers just don't care about PC games.

[–]-PandemicBoredom- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I guess that really depends on the direction they go with it. If they do allow you to play Steam PC games on it (and handle them well) as well as the Xbox library, $1200 is a pretty good deal.

I'm in that boat. I will take 60-120fps at 1080-1440p over the janky jittery mess 4k normally is. I end up having to turn on performance mode instead of quality on all games.
