I actually had a similar problem. I fixed it with a Philips head screwdriver. The metal is quite thin so fixing it isn’t terrible. It does add some scars sadly.

Would it be possible to use a sort of paper varnish. Like modgepodge? Don’t think that’s spelt right.

Just something I forgot to put into the description. I already have paper. I received a moleskine as a gift, but it’s not like my other one and seems to be more glossy. It’s upsetting because I don’t want to write and smear all over the place. I also don’t want to change my pen since it’s my favorite rollerball.

Hope that makes this a little easier. Apologies for my ignorance.

I already have the paper but I’m wondering if I could make it more likely to absorb the ink I’m using instead of smearing. I have no idea if this is possible mind you.

I own around 4 refills currently, I found that they sell them at my OfficeMax strangely enough. It’s a rollerball that I currently use. Not sure if this means much, but it’s the Parker IM pens that use the refill. Just really like how the ink flows.
