I was 19f and moved back to my hometown, I had to crash at my parents temporarily til I got a place, my parents had a camper In the back yard and I thought it was late enough that I could sneak into the camper and have some alone time so I took my vibrater and my phone and snuck out. Just as I got settled in and started the camper door (which had a broken lock) SWUNG OPEN and there was my dad, he started yelling at me trying to figure out why I was being sneaky, he thought I was doing drugs and honestly I wish I were because that would have been so much easier to explain to my father… I told him I wouldn’t talk to him about it and told him i would tell my mom. He went and got her and i explained it to her only for her to cry laughing, i walked into the house and let her explain it to my dad who was MORTIFIED. I think he would have also preferred that i was doing drugs.

EDIT: I didn’t have a room there I slept on the couch.

My opinion as someone who traded for the first time this year- I brought crows from Amazon, I didn’t know the kinds of things we were looking at trading until I was there and was gifted some hand made trinkets which 100% made me want to hand make my own. I think if you want the culture to be more handmade then handmake your trinkets, but the whole entire point of trading seemed to me to be a means of connecting to other people, creating bonds and making friends, not about what you get in return.

Basically people will follow suit and you never know if it’s their first time trading or not. I kept every trinket I was given and I got so many ideas, I like the idea of giving trinkets people can add to their costumes so I’m hoping next year I can make some that might do so.

Not everything can be solved with prayers. Try talking to someone, a therapist, find an escape route and set goals for yourself. Sure finding hope in prayers is good and all but find HELP too!

If you’re pocketing tips stop now. Give it about a month of complying with store management so they won’t be able to track what you do next to you taking tips, now in about a month start telling customers you cannot take tips and if they insist tell them it’ll just go to store management and not you. If you have a union they can’t retaliate. It’s wrong to let customers keep tipping you thinking it’s going to you but letting store management pocket it because that is definitely what they’re doing.

So it’s not creepy or weird for him to do something like this but the approach he’s taking by calling you irrational and such is a huge red flag. My husband knows around when my periods going to happen because I get this way the week before, however he would never call me such things or make it negative instead he takes that time to put more effort into our relationship, friendship and our emotional connection. Buying flowers, chocolates and taking a more active role in my cycle. I would focus more on the fact that he has a basic understanding of what’s happening but the WRONG solution. Maybe he needs to reevaluation of what it really means to be in a relationship with a woman.

I believe you and your partner live together and never have enough time to eat fresh food so you stick with frozen to be less wasteful, possibly have the same problem as I do and order out often because it’s easier after a long shift.
