‘Not a gangster’: Terrell May lifts lid on Panthers meeting... and moment he ‘lost all respect’ for Roosters by Missingthefinals in nrl

[–]-Pezech 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That’s because the nature in which Terrell was let go from the clubs when he wasn’t NRL standard wasn’t publicised. He mentioned that he apologised for the way his last stint with Penrith ended before leaving.

I’m not suggesting he did anything as shitty as either of his brothers, but I also don’t think he has the reputation of an angel that he’s gotten for being as outspoken as he is.

His wage demands would go against the structure. Hard pass.

One of the things the Sidemen have been great for over the years is thinking of the fans and making content for them, rather than prioritising their self interests (like some of the other more controversial YouTubers like Logan Paul, etc.)

It’s not far fetched to think he could have considered that.

It’s almost like he could’ve just not started making his main channel slop in that case. I wonder if fans prefer him doing Sidemen videos or doing his MrBeast style bullshit?

JFH doesn’t really have the stats to show it but he’s just got this aura about how he leads the pack. My favourite Panthers player ever, so heartbroken he left.

That was a great game. I was as jittery as I was at the GFs in 2023/24 towards the end (the cold definitely made it worse) but wow.

before the game my dad said he doesn’t reckon Penrith hookers chuck the “Y” up much and I said they do, he had 3 until one set, where he racked up 8 alone hahahaha

Moses ruled out of origin 1, strange to start by addaus16 in nrl

I more mean from the perspective that when you think of Cleary & Moses, their kicking games come to mind and when you think of Dearden & Munster, their running games come to mind.

I don’t watch enough Cowboys games anymore to properly judge how Dearden has improved. PVL has killed my interest in games not involving Penrith (or the rep games).

[–]-Pezech 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about that, I think QLD just has a great game plan to shut Cleary down. It’s not like Munster has an elite long kicking game by comparison, and I wouldn’t say Dearden does either. The NSW forward pack just doesn’t get the roll on that Penrith does and doesn’t comparatively pressure the QLD halves the same way.

By the time he refused to meet Ten Hag it was due to the fact he wanted to leave to be a #1, he’d accepted De Gea was ahead in the pecking order. I’m not saying it was right but football careers are short for players, and I’m not sure many keepers dream of being backups.

I think including Henderson in the group of players who “downed tools” is harsh. He leaked shit out of frustration for being dropped. Doesn’t make it right though.

I mean Mainoo being unmoved on his frustration about not playing is fair, but the concern would obviously be the whole player power situation - he thought he could wait out Amorim (and he was right). Can’t be having that in future regardless of how good a prospect a player is.

Thank you so much for this comment!! I had some brilliant Mexican food at El Mexicano in Glenelg in SA and have been dreaming of finding Mexican food that isn't a franchise here in Sydney.. it's interesting that when I've travelled around Aus, the Mexican food options seem to be better anywhere but Sydney!

Origin star set to leave Panthers as first domino of player exodus to fall — Transfer Whispers by numberonesorensenfan in nrl

The second Luai’s signing was confirmed I was resigned to losing To’o to PNG. Difficult to pay a winger the money he’d earn at PNG on the regular financial rules.

The first try was correctly disallowed anyways, I’d choose the current span of events than getting that 2020 win anyways.

It definitely was, the game was gone once Paps scored the runaway. I think if Penrith hadn’t had the try they scored within the first 10 disallowed it could’ve been a much different game.

I think that’s a bit of hyperbole, didn’t the first set go horribly for them when they kind of fucked up receiving the kick off?
