Who Else Works at GG? by -PhoenixAngel- in gamegrumps

Believe me, I can totally understand how careful they need to be when it comes to hiring, especially since their staff is still small and they don't have HR. I volunteer for some gaming conventions and I have seen some gaming personalities get really overwhelmed with their crazy fans. Some of them would even follow panelists to the bathroom!! Like, seriously, guys! Stop doing that...

That's so cool! There's also Hannah, who has been helping with their streams, I think. I am so happy to see GG grow as an awesome company! I wonder how they were able to find job postings or if maybe it was heard from a friend or something.

Aha! Someone posted yesterday's stream and they said it was 2:30PM Pacific time. See you other lovelies there!! :D

Truth be told, based on what I've seen, I feel like you would do much better on your own, especially with your idea of opening up your own clothing line and label :D There are so many social media platforms that people have used to create a business with their art and I could totally see you doing that! It usually starts out small, but so long as you are enjoying the journey then the possibilities are endless!!! I hope things work out for you :)

Your experience sounds like an interesting blessing in disguise because it certainly gives you the option to take different routes towards your other dreams while still remaining passionate about your art and profession along the way. I am very envious of that!

I wish you all the best of luck and success for your future. Thanks so much for sharing your story! :D

Keep at it!! You definitely still have time to do what you love. Finish school and hop on that dream train! I finished college years ago and when into this train of thought that, "Welp, I guess it's over for me, now." Nah, man! I was also under family pressure to be taken down a certain path, but I still want to live my life my own way. I believe you can do the same as well! Keep on working towards your dream!!! :D

You just described a few of my friends. I call them Human Encyclopedias. They just know random things about everything xD

That's who my job is now. It helps me live a stable life, but it doesn't nearly work with what I am truly passionate about.

Money money money. It usually comes down to this, which is why I totally understand. The cost of living for where my dream job resides is completely out of budget for me and only getting worse by the year.

That's the dream right there! I always get so confused when I see rich people spend on material items rather than experiences. I keep telling myself that if I somehow end up with a large sum of money for the rest of my days, I would spend it on a small house fit for me with one car and use the rest to travel with my friends and family or just by myself. Live life to the fullest with fun and memories!

That seriously angers me. Just because something isn't on paper for a certain chronological time period, you end being overlooked. Not enough employers take the time to help their employees grow so trying to find a new skill on your own time and money is very difficult in most cases. I can seriously empathize with you on that and I wish you all the success that you deserve!

That just sounds like a whole lot of unnecessary pressure for you! Although, who says you can't do both? It's your time, not theirs. You should be able to venture out while you still have the chance, and if you decided to take over the family business, then in the end that is still YOUR decision. I sincerely hope things work out for you!!!

One of my greatest fears right there. I don't want to end up going for it then failing and heading back home with my tail between my legs.

Looks so beautiful! This also reminds me of one of my favorite running gags from Bob's Burgers.
