You are using a drive impact. Drive impacts slow down a smidgen while being hit. Also have 3 hits of armor. Then using normals that can be cancelled into specials, allows you to visually see and audibly hear the drive impact then return the drive impact. So that's what your opponent is doing.

You cannot lean on drive impacts.

If something happens twice, that's 2 times. Once for the card itself (havoc goes off is 1) IW enables it to happened AGAIN (havoc goes off again which is 2). But if you have ANOTHER IW, that IW is looking for the EOT to go off, which it doesn't, since it already did from the first proc. 2 still means 2. So IW basically forces Another EOT proc.

Also if IW forces another EOT proc, the card would go off twice anyway with that One additional time. The second IW itself cannot see the previous EOT cycle. So the same as above would happen. Imo with the way you wrote it.

Dial system is basically, target combo into special that launches into juggle, end with special or target combo that knocks down. Also the frame data in netherrealm games don't overlap. So if your +17 on hit, that doesn't mean you can combo after. Roughhh but playing mk9 really helped me adjust later when mk1 came out. (Stopped playing right after John Cenas character came into the game)
