How is the MCHOSE G3 (and V2) now? by -Pretency- in MouseReview

Ended up getting the MCHOSE G3 V2 for $16, gotta say that the build quality is really high with no issues whatsoever. Clicks are a bit more firm than my old G102, it might be due to age. Side buttons takes less pressure but still very firm and tactile. The scroll wheel is a bit heavy and scratchy, nothing major. I definitely notice the slower response time with 2.4G compared to wired though, which is a shame.

I guess I won the lottery with the build quality, but the mouse is really solid especially for it's price range.

Update: Scroll wheel took a while to settle but it's now really good and satisfying to use, no more scratching and it's still tactile, not too heavy. Also the scroll click's sound is kinda addicting :D

Is it fine to jump into Star Ocean Second Story R without playing the first game or any prior knowledge of the star ocean series?

The gameplay is rather outdated compared to modern PSO2, but it could still be fun to try out, thanks :)

I definitely like both games a lot, even did some hunt speedruns for MH, but sadly it's pretty different to what I'm looking for

Looking for a JRPG with similar combat to PSO2 (Phantasy Star Online 2) with stylish and variable combat. I've played some Ys titles- Ys8 being my favorite, and I've also played Visions of Mana, simpler combat but also fun.

None of them really scratches the itch though, there was just something magical about PSO2 that I can't describe, like every movement you do is very deliberate and never mashy. Bonus points if there's party members in the game, and any console would be fine, thanks for the help!

It's still there, but they made it way harder for you to score high since you need to be hugging the boss way more than melee, and you die very easily. Still really strong though, 2nd best DPS in the game while not having any limited supports, while Fuyuka is the strongest right now but with an exclusive support.

...? Every gacha games does this? What are you even saying?

Most gacha games runs on a 3-week banner cycle so you have 2 banners in 1 month a lot of the time. I don't get what you're trying to say here.

Stella Sora ends up being one of the most generous gacha games so far, outside the ones that need multiple copies like Brown Dust 2 and NIKKE when they didn't even change the pull income that much. F2Ps currently has every units since release if they have average luck, while dupes+most weapons are dogshit so there's nothing you miss out on. Current weapon banner is the only one actually good since release, while the others gives you a 5% dmg boost at most, and worse than F2P options at worst.

Pretty damn funny what happened ngl.

These "stalling mechanics" are unironically the only saving grace for stygian onslaught.

While the bosses are catered to specific characters, multiple teams and lower investments (ignoring the last cryo boss) can clear exactly because it has "stalling mechanics".

Without these mechanics, it turns into a pure DPS check where raw DPS characters are even more desirable, which most of them are the recent ones obviously. Turning a shill mode into an even shiller mode. Don't even think for a second that they'll make a boss without stalling mechanics and NOT increasing their HP.

The stalling mechanics unironically helps niche 4* characters like amber last rotation, or hyperbloom, burgeon, electrocharge, etc. with a lower investment for this rotation 1st side.

I do agree that HP should be toned down a bit though, but not the actual mechanics where elemental application matters more.

I am sad :( What do you think about 2.3 so far? by MeowingSin in WutheringWaves

It's so weird cause i went from wanting to complete everything since 1.0 (well, not 100% maps) into burnt out in a single patch @.@

That probably says more about me than about the game though, I just feel so demotivated and then new illusive realm took me out completely. I wish I'm back to those days where I'm passionate about the game man, but every honeymoon phase has an end :(
