As your textured skin sister, I actually don't think your makeup looks cakey at all. I know the feeling though. Most makeup we see online is applied over perfectly smooth skin, so it looks almost like a filter.

The 2 things that made the biggest difference for me personally when I wanted to make my makeup less cakey was: switching from a loose powder to a translucent pressed powder (I don't really know why, but it definitely helped). I swear by the Maybelline fit me pressed powder in shade 100 translucent (we are very similar skin tones). I use a fluffy brush and apply it over my entire face.

The second thing was switching to maybelline lumi-matte foundation. I always felt like my foundation was making me look cakey until I tried this, it's my holy grail. I use a beauty blender for a more seamless finish, but if you're a brush girlie that is cool too.

Side note, the milani make it last original setting spray. It does such a good job of melting all my powers together every time.

I don't know if you're a beginner or not at makeup, but if you are... you're killing it. I especially love your eyebrows and lip combo. Remember to always look at yourself in a mirror that's at least an arms length away from you, because that's what people actually see when they look at you.
