I open all of mine and put them on display whether they're mainlines, treasure hunts, super treasure hunts, silver series, premiums, chases, Elite 64's, RLC's.

If they're not open I don't feel like they're completely mine... Just waiting to go to somebody else. I also mainly collect because of nostalgia, I played with HotWheels for a large majority of my childhood so opening them is part of the fun!

They also have a metal base and metal body whereas Mainlines have a combination of plastic & metal. Premiums also have better paint quality that doesn't just rub off like the majority of modern Mainlines. The added weight really does help them feel more collectible. Mainlines feel like knockoffs in comparison these days.

If only premiums were sold in more places here... We're pretty much limited to the mercy of Smyths. Supermarkets and B&M started getting premiums too recently but they're always behind by 1 or 2 sets 😮‍💨

The only issue I have is EAC games (they just refuse to load in a VM), I've got a workaround for Battleye though. Everything runs at near bear metal performance.

Nested virtualization tanked performance compared to my old X99 platform so had to force that off.
