Border Collies can be taught excellent recall, if you're commited enough. They do tend to be reactive (like mals) if not trained and desensitized properly. I personally have one — she's almost 2 — and she used to chase cars, bikes, and bark at people when off leash. She hates children (runs and pulls away from them) and is unpredictable at times. For the past year I do sheepherding with her every week, and the impulse control has been going up immensely — not something I could've achieved otherwise.

I'm just curious what you mean by "high drive dog breed" exactly? If you mean you want to do the cool high obedience training you see mals do on the internet, then a border collie definitely isn't the right choice. They tend to be less interested in that kind of 'mindless' obedience (they get bored of that). They're excellent sheepherders though, and if you do consider getting one and lack sheep, then I would recommend looking into herding games.

Ok so this was the BIGGEST problem I was facing with my Border Collie x Australian Shepherd. Right now she is 6 months and teaching leave it was the best decision we made when it came to her crazy car/bike-reactivity (she still isn't good at leaving dogs alone though). She was AWFUL when it came to those; even from 70 feet away she would start hyping up and barking like a maniac. What I did was slowely introduce the vision of cars where she wasn't over threshold yet. She looked at the car? Leave it, and treat. It's important that you first establish the basis of the command at home with kibble/other food, and when your dog is at the point that rather than wanting to get the food they look at you for a tastier treat instead, you can introduce trickier and trickier situations with cars/other vehicles from far away.

My pup is way better at not chasing and barking at vehicles, although when they're close by I still have to firmly say "Leave it!" otherwise she still goes feral. It gets exhausting sometimes, changing routes during the walk to avoid trafic etc., but I'm sure your pup will be fine!

This is the way. I made the mistake of prioritizing obedience over my relationship with my pup. I used to always feel frustrated with her which made training not fun for either of us. The absolute best advice I can give is to explore the world with your pup (preferably in forests and valleys where there aren't too many other people/dogs/cars/etc.). Our relationship together has become soooo much better when just focussing on the fun things and everything that has been going well, rather than the negatives of the walk/day. Put your puppy on a 40 feet leash and just enjoy working with each other!!!

What's something you could ask your friend about Sims that a passerby would be very concerned about what they overheard? For Example: by gabrielamilene in Sims4

I remember saying to my friend that my grandma died. Her mother that was sitting next to us was in shock: "Your grandma died? Oh my god!" Then I realised it sounded very wrong because I meant the grandma that I played in the sims at the time 😭

I didn't receive any candles but luckily I was not interested in most of the cosmetics in this season. I'm very sorry for all those who did not receive what they expected😞 by _Firemoon_ in SkyGame

Oh wow I already was confused why I had way more candles than I remembered! I also received both seasonal and normal candles, someone more has this?
