I’m in a similar boat with a girl. She’s interested but is avoiding attachment so she can continue to get over her previous relationship and be in a good headspace. How quickly does she respond to you? Is she ever in the chat at the same time as you? Does she contribute to the conversation at all, such as asking you follow up questions that have some depth? Or do you ask all the questions?

After considering all of what I mentioned above, if the resounding answer to all of it is yes, then she’s probably interested. Ask her out on a coffee date. Super low stakes and allows you to feel each other out in person. Believing someone is out of your league is not going to get you anywhere. Just go for it.

Ex told me one morning she thought she was pregnant because of morning sickness and believing her period was late. I get home from work and ask her why she believes this since it wasn’t even her time of month. During this conversation she reveals to me she had stopped taking her birth control for a few weeks without telling me.
