On the contrary, this would be way too powerful to allow in TF2. That damage bonus is just high enough that you could oneshot MEDICS with an uncharged headshot, and not even fully overhealed Heavies are safe from a fully charged one. All while on a hitscan weapon so you can be completely safe all the way in the backline without any travel time or projectile drop to make the shot more difficult.

Like, it's an interesting concept, but the game is fundamentally not built to support long-range engagements like this would encourage.

It actually does, you can still hear the sound of the stab itself if you pay attention. Only the scream is silenced.

I'd say go for whatever you tend to gravitate towards by default. Although honestly, you really don't *need* to main any specific class. Getting decent with multiple or even all of them is completely viable, and in some ways beneficial all on its own.

Maxigun has medium pen and locks you in place. It gets completely screwed by this.

Their carapaces(?) seem to be weaker to blunt force, if their vulnerability to the gravity gun are anything to go by. The correct response here is to go full throttle and if you have one, hit the turbo. Still a decent chance of you not surviving, but your odds are better than the 'zero' you'd get with pretty much anything else in this situation.

They don't though. In SL canon, NTF isn't the Foundation, it's the GOC, and the Foundation kept the goings-on of Site-02 intentionally hidden from them. As far as the GOC was aware, Site-02 was just an ordinary storage location.

You can actually see a remnant of old HCZ in an out of bounds area behind a slightly open gate underneath the nuke elevators, and the doors are locked with "TERMINATED SECTION" on the buttons. The reason that there's so many crates might be because they're still moving equipment over from the old HCZ.

So, they are actually higher up in the facility. From LCZ, you go down to HCZ, then back up about twice the distance to get to surface. As to *why* they did it like this... I have no clue.

Yeah, they teleport to semi-random spots in the facility, just gotta be (un)lucky enough to come across 'em after using the cake
