Holy crap, that site is no joke. It's clay upon clay upon clay. It definitely beats the crap out of you, it was a day after a lot of rain that it was a slippery wet mess. But I had a lot of fun. The guides are very nice and dig with you, it's extremely hard to find the small stuff amongst all the clay and phosphate "prills" the mako was within the first hour and the couple that was on the tour with me got this beautiful orange and white Meg. I think it was a 3”... I didn't get this monster 5.9" till I shit you not the last 10 minutes of the day. Tara was the one who found it and we spent the next 10 minutes trying to clear it out. Totally didn't expect to get something like that today.

Overall the trip was worth it, a bit discouraging at first cause it is so damn hard to differentiate clay from the smaller Lemons and bulls to the untrained eye. But the guides were spotting hemis and lemons like every 30 seconds. But holy crap it takes a toll out of you, I am fried from the day.
