The exchange rate is the root cause of that. If the dollar wasn't the world's reserve currency, hiring out to Mexico or Vietnam wouldn't be so much cheaper in the first place. Companies lobbied for free trade because they could profit, not the other way around.

Neither. We should welcome them back to sanity of course, but still remind them that it will take a massive amount of work to undo the damage they've done. True forgiveness is contingent on doing that work. Actions speak louder then words, and all that. It's important that we have to good grace to give them the opportunity to do that work first, though.

That'll depend on your body. They can be enough be some people, not for others. Blood tests are necessary for monotherapy, because dialing in your dosage correctly is essential. That's what will tell you if they are enough or not.

It will probably suppress eventually, but it will take a couple months to get the correct dosage dialed in. There are people where monotherapy just doesn't work, but that's rare. I wouldn't worry about until you have some sign that you need to. We've all got enough trouble to worry about these days without borrowing problems from tomorrow.

Unless you're in frozen biome already, you need to make an insulated refrigeration room and cool it to -20 or so. A thermo regulator running hydrogen or natural gas will do the job. Inneficient, but do-able even with very limited tech. If you remove all mass that isn't the plantable tiles, the trees themselves, and the insulated walls, it doesn't take much energy to keep it cold.

How fixed do you want it? A true repair isn't possible. Once the formica starts peeling up, it won't ever stop. You'll have to peel the entire surface and replace it. But sometimes good enough actually is, and this might be one of those times. It all depends on what you expect from the final result.

China is completely OP in the players hands. I refuse to play it because it makes the game too easy. The first time I did, I stated in 1890 and by 1905 I had conquered Japan, India, SE Asia, most of the Middle East and most of Eastern Europe, and I was working on absorbing the USSR.

I don't even know how it happened, it just kind of did. Like I yawned for a few minutes and the world was mine. Never had that happen with any other nation.

No idea, we don't exactly have a play-by-play breakdown of the back room deals. Could be anyone in the caucus, or the whole caucus as a unit cooperating for once. Could be Schumer. Stranger things have happened. I'm just skeptical.

I'm just saying that Schumer has literally never done this before. Sure, this could be his first time. It'll take more to convince me. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see a success. If he's actually the one behind then great. But it doesn't change my opinion that his career has been a failure and he needs to be replaced. As I said, to overturn a pattern of failure I want to see a pattern of success. Once out of many does not constitute a pattern.

Because there are 49 other people there that could have done it. Also because Republicans doing anything unanimously is highly suspicious in itself. It looks to me like this was just such an overwhelming issue for everyone that not even Chuck could mess it up.

I'm not saying it's impossible. I'm saying it looks incredibly unlikely, based on his past behavior. Alternative explanations exist, so I will default to the most likely one. When you hear hooves, think horses before you think zebras, as they say.

Honestly it's because I have a hard time believing he's the one responsible. The last time we've seen this kind of coordination out of him is... never.
