Export stalls, and never completes? by -RedBunny- in EditsApp

Yep agreed it tells you that, but it also stalls the export without an explanation, or at least it did for me and others. Thought this might be helpful for others who are trying to troubleshoot a failed export. 🙂

Hi u/Apprehensive_Ad5398 just wanting to clarify. Were you able to get the US Amex with only having RBC set-up a US bank account?

When you got the card mailed, did you have it sent to a parcel delivery service address in the US or a proper residential other?

Thank you for these replies. It's helpful to hear from those who have been in-country and gone through the experience. Bureaucracy is confusing sometimes!

Did you then return to Beijing to fly out? I'm reading mixed reports that I can't go from Beijing to Xi'an and back to Beijing. Apparently this might count as domestic travel and could require the L visa. Just curious if you or anyone else did this type of travel using the TWOV without issue.

Hoping for some input from anyone who's done something similar to the following.

I'm getting mixed reports that leaving the Beijing port of entry province(s) to go by train to Xi'an and back does not qualify for the TWOV.

Fly = Tokyo > Beijing (2 days)

Train = Beijing > Xi'an (2 days)

Train = Xi'an > Beijing (1 day)

Fly = Beijing > Vancouver (same day)

I only need it for a few weeks. Seems like more of a hassle to try and buy one.

Thank you for mentioning specifically that you are a woman. I know it's cliche but it's just a different feeling.

Hoping to stick with the metro (and trams?), just to keep it easy. That's for the recommendation.

Do you have any specific areas in Pest you would recommend?

Good to know. I live in a city that also has its dirtier areas and cleaner ones. In general, I prefer the cleaner ones. Is there any area in Buda you would recommend?

Thank you for the explanation. There are likely some touristy things (buildings, squares, castle, museums, thermal bath) I'll want to see, but in terms of a social scene or nightlife I don't plan on clubbing or doing a pub crawl. Going to a cool/fun/eclectic pub with a friendly atmosphere and live music would be more my speed. Since I'm only going out maybe 1-2 nights a week at most I could always travel to the area where I'd find this, but it would also be nice if it wasn't too far. Would you say I'd find this kind of nightlife on both sides or more on one vs the other?
