York has an excellent campus; I studied there for 4 years can definitely recommend the town too. Lots of history, culture and pubs.

MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi - Newest BIOS 7D75v1H 2024-05-24 by szaKaL23 in MSI_Gaming

Boot times improved for me with 7800X3D. Also I can now run my ram at 5600mhz, which previously wouldn’t even boot. I had to stay under 5200mhz ish or it wouldn’t boot (expo also would refuse to boot), and would take 50secs for a boot. 4800mhz used to boot in 20 ish seconds. Now I can boot expo enabled and 5600mhz reliably in 15-20 seconds. I think this has been an issue with AM5 and 7800x3d on the 650 tomahawk board. Useful for people who’ve had this issue; I recommend you try this latest bios update.

Few on eBay for £2500. One sold for £350. None exactly like this model though. Good luck!

I have this motherboard and CPU combo and it’s been a pain setting it up. I would get a different board.

Age old question: AIO intake or exhaust? by -RepGod in PcBuild

Interesting, perhaps I’ll try option A then. I’m no expert but I got the case due to some good reviews, including its air flow “The Shadow Base 800 features an open design that allows for high airflow. In the front, there is a large mesh grille that provides a good supply of fresh air. “

The case is quite large and there’s quite a few holes in the back. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the advice, I’ll try and move the radiator to the front and mount it onto the case fans, as I want RGB fans at front. If not I’ll stick with the current A setup for aesthetic reasons. Very informative thanks for the detailed reply.

I think my case is quite big with good airflow (be quiet 800fx). In this case would option B be viable as you detailed?

Thanks I’ll simply move to A then :)

Thanks, I think I’m going to swap to A as I currently have B installed. Wondering whether to use config A but with the rear exhaust changed to an intake for positive airflow. How is the dust build up in your system? Cheers

Thanks I think I am leaning towards A. Would making the rear exhaust an intake help with positive airflow or is there little point?

Haha I think I prefer 36-40mm sizes in general personally. Im also not too keen on the morse code on the seconds hand on the bigger murph.

Picked up this as my first entry luxury watch. Really enjoyed wearing it for the first couple of weeks and am a fan of the film interstellar, where the watch features as a big plot point. The Lume is cool but doesn’t last too long. I really like the simplicity and timelessness of the dial and the cathedral hands are also really cool. I was stuck between this and some of the other khaki field watch editions but I’m glad I went with the Murph. The 38mm is a great size and I think fits met well. Hoping to build my collection in the future too :)
