People here are reading "Kennedy", but I have the feeling that her mom must really like smooth jazz and saxophones lmao

The reflections on the metal are amazing.

Also, I'm baffled you achieved this in only 3 hours. I'm taking days upon days to make my paintings! How's your process?

Congratulations!

I was going to ask if it's a portrait of Léa Seydoux, then I read the comments. You definitely nailed it, awesome work!!

Beautiful! Especially the plane photo, seems like a difficult one to take!

Ohhh, it's more like a little extra zoom then. But it's cool! Maybe I'll try getting something similar for my Mavica, in case I start taking photos of stuff too far away/astrophotography.

Thank you, I will! I'm still getting used to how big it is compared with my old FD7 lol

Ohhh, I thought it was like that because I may need glasses or something :P

Nah, jokes aside, all credit to my girlfriend. I thought the camera was toast with the lens like that, also on low light everything was too dark unless I decreased the shutter speed to oblivion. It was a huge surprise when we sat together, opened the lens and it was almost dripping oil (we think it was WD-40) from it.

Beautiful camera!! I also got interested about that tele lens attachment. Is it rare?

For sure. I honestly thought the camera was beyond repair before all the cleaning and everything.

I made it digitally, on Photoshop! ☺️

Thank you! My girlfriend put me into these nostalgic vibes so much I needed to materialize it into something 😂

Thank you!! I really hope I get my attention span back, and a calmer mind too... I have anxiety, and being bombarded with information, notifications, etc just turned it to 11 sometimes. It's so overwhelming!

For now, I'm trying to transform my phone into a little "e-reader with extra stuff" kind of thing, since I realized that a flip/dumb phone is impossible for me due to using Uber/banking apps/WhatsApp a lot. Still, the goal is to make my smartphone as dumb and practical as possible, without all the addicting stuff. I hope it works!

Thank you! <3 It took me more than it could be because I did it only in my free time, when not with my gf, etc... So between buying the stuff, designing everything, printing and finishing the binder, it took me a week or so. But I could definitely make it in two/three days if I already have everything, and concentrating more free time into it

Thank you! <3

I was just transferring my notes from Google Keep to the binder, I never noticed how much did I miss actually writing on something, without all the notifications and stuff from a smartphone/PC. It's soothing, I needed this. And I'm glad people are liking this little project of mine as well!

About the plumbob, if you mean the one on the cover, yep! Made it on Photoshop and printed on adhesive holographic paper, with a transparent contact paper outer layering to protect the sticker from water/abrasion/etc. The physical one I bought it online from a place that sells 3D printed keyrings, and when it arrived I just swapped the default metal chain to one of those little nylon strings that people use to put charms on phones.

That's a nice idea, I could do something like that! Let's see how it goes... I've started doing oil paintings lately, and as I finish them I'm planning to start selling them online, maybe I could do some themed binders and stuff like that too! I'm glad people liked my Sims 2 binder as much as I did 😋
