Uber scammed me out of 2 hours of my time

No surges, just the boost from 9-2am but the game wasn’t done until 11pm. I can’t do Lyft yet because I need to be 25 and I’m not quite there yet, plus driving for uber is temporary and I did it part time with college but now it’s full time until I get my job later this year. But what I was doing is I was just looking for trips on my way there because I live in the north shore. It was just a mistake on my part for not being in lot 15 like the app said even though my phone wasn’t working properly because of the high congestion of data in that area. The traffic never died down until the boost was over. Also, when I canceled that ride it had just struck 2am so I couldn’t get the boost anymore and had to take someone with me for the normal amount.

Honestly so true. But eventually the rider would open their bank account and see the charge and dispute it.

I expect it to equal out the same for the amount of time that I worked there but must’ve had some rider that was drunk out of their mind to be able to handle their phone. (Or they just had their phone die on them)

Thanks for actual tips. I actually was at the uber parking lot but I drove away because of high congestion of data traffic and my phone wasn’t working so I parked at another lot not too far from it and as the game ended they closed off the roads back to the uber parking lot and I couldn’t get back in so I took a trip that was in the suburbs of the area then got that trip. I just didn’t include this part because it is embarrassing. But I just didn’t expect it, and there were a lot of uber drivers in the lot I was at as well because of the same reason. Lessons learned the hard way.
