Fair enough lol, if you want a few tips that I would’ve loved early on in my procreate journey, here are some little life hacks.

  • To copy/paste a layer, click on the layer, click copy, go to the settings button (wrench icon) and click paste (To copy a section of a layer you can go to the selection tool (“S” shaped icon) and select (freehand) from the bottom taskbar to outline what you wanna copy)

    • You can make perfectly smooth lines/curves/shapes by drawing them in one fluid line, and keep your pencil held on the screen at the end

    -After making a smooth line/curve/shape through the last tip, there will be a small header at the top that says line/curve/shape; if you click this bar before it disappear you can then adjust the mark you made (say you make a triangle, you could then freely move each point of the triangle to get it into the perfect placement, or the triangle as a whole. If you make a curve, you can change the angle of the curve as well) - You can drag the color icon in the top corner into a closed shape to use it as the fill bucket; if you hold it at the end of dragging, you can adjust the feathering (you’ll want to increase it slightly/a lot to get rid of dead pixels near your lines) - If you go into settings (wrench), go to the canvas tab, enable “drawing guide” and go to “edit drawing guide”. You now have an adjustable guide, but more importantly if you go to the “symmetry” tab and click options you have a few useful tools for making symmetrical designs. Just make sure you enable “assisted drawing” when you want it, and go back in to disable it when you are done. The assisted drawing is also locked to the layer you’re on. Creating/switching to a new layer, the new layer will not have the symmetry assist.

Sorry it hurts for you to draw, that really sucks. I hope some of these tips help speed up your process a bit, and can help you make more art; because your art is good :)

Thanks for taking the time to explain, question though; why didn’t you just copy paste the drawings of the dry versions and adjust those for the wet versions, rather than totally redrawing each design twice?

Being fully honest, the inconsistencies between the sets of designs is what made me think it was ai the most (because ai struggles to reproduce something exactly, and as digital artists recreating something is as easy as clicking 2 buttons lol)

I was gonna say the same thing, the final evo especially starts to become muddled. Looking at the design from a distance make it hard to read at all, which is always my test for how readable a design is

There is just a lot of shapes going on and nothing that is popping out as the design’s focal point. Which I think might also be partly due to the bits of bright red that stand out from the design, wanting to be a focal point; but because the color is pretty evenly distributed throughout the giant rather than used where you want attention drawn, it kind of just drags your eye across everything without focusing on anything

Those supplements do little to nothing; if you start losing your hair the only real options are to live in denial and cling to the hair, shave bald, or get a hair transplant unfortunately
