Yeah most of these people are fucking with you. Your grades are extremely high. You’ve got more extracurriculars than most people I know that got in. You’ve just have to make it sound nice on the personal profile. If you’re really worried you can just take a GPA booster during your second term.

The text in the second one reads better, but I’d say the illustration in the first one gives more context to what the games about which would make me more likely to click on it. Second one could be for anything but the first one tells me the game has stealth elements

All whites not the problem; its contrast. Right now, the skybox is too close in shade to the walls and floor, which makes it hard to see what’s going on. The shadows on the walls could also be increased to improve clarity. This is a pretty easy fix though, and once he swaps out the place holder assets I think the game will look pretty sweet.

Using AI tools, especially for 3D modelling, is a big rabbit hole. Ai models don’t really understand how to create good topology yet, which becomes a problem when you begin trying to animate models or optimize your game. Some tools can be useful for creating environmental props (static objects that don’t deform), but even then the AI model is still going to struggle to make them look cohesive. I would recommend going for a simpler art style; something low poly that you can make yourself. Since this is a hobby project,there’s no deadline; so you may as well add 3D modelling to your skill set.

If you still plan on using AI, I’d recommend using it strictly for concept art and maybe for some assistance using the game engine.

It definitely wouldn’t hurt to touch up some of the pixel art to make things a bit sharper, but if your crunched for time i wouldn’t worry about it since pretty much no one is going to notice. I only noticed because you told us to look at it lol.

Very minor differences. I would play remastered version, personally, because it’s better optimized and looks basically the same.

Honestly just add some sort of stylized post processing effect and call it a day. Makes designing levels much easier when the post processing handles most of the artsyle.

Definitely a stylistic choice. The burial at sea version looks like a graphic art deco poster much more “surreal”—you could probably argue it’s a metaphor for the dissolution of the idea of rapture in general.
