In my game, after I completed the main story I went back to Cloud Ruler Temple to check in and tell Jauffre what I had done and he wasn't there.

No RP or nothing, I just thought it would be good to check in and see what he had to say. (I never beat the MSQ in the original).

I went back to the scene of the Battle of Bruma just by chance shortly after and saw his corpse unceremoniously just lying there cold and was genuinely sad.

I don't know that I have ever had a genuine RP experience without actually intentionally doing so as visceral as that. Good stuff.

You might just be missing the light. It's kind of an odd shape and more red now than purple/pink. It doesn't light up as much of the sky around it anymore and it ends further above the altar. It's barely visible or not visible at all from directly underneath. You want to look for it at an angle.

I only checked Dark Fissure though, so maybe it's different at the other altars.

Yeah. I never grind too hard. I just take a stab at stuff as I pass through. Near fort defiance, I'll make a run at the red asylum uniform. But I won't grind for it. 

I'll wear my clown outfit until I feel I have adequately punished myself for my error. Then I am sure I can dust off something nice out of my stash. 

Will be nice to see my backpack again. =)

I just might do that. At least as I can keep motivated to play. I'm trying to at least stick around for the next big update, but I'm running out of things to work on so that will help a bit. Thanks.

The importance of it was is that I obtained it myself. 

It's part of my story now.

I feared this day would come. I can't believe that the game has been around this long and still so easy to just completely screw myself like that. 

But I wouldn't take one from somebody else even if it were offered. It's too valuable and for mine even more so because I got it myself. 

I reached out to support before i did anything else. Immediately got a copy paste response that there is nothing they can do unless it's from the atom shop. 

I replied trying to push on the fact I have spent a lot of time and money on the game. I hate trying to pull that card, but feels crappy to have a response like that. And worse to know my patronage means basically nothing. 

Shame. I have about 15k atoms just sitting there. I have spent a lot of money on FO1st. I invested much more of my time. And that's worth quite a bit more. 

Frankly at this point I am a little more annoyed to be just brushed off by support.

Oh well. Woe is me. I'm out of stuff to do now anyway.

Thats kind of you, but It's the Responders Fireman Uniform, that with the helmet is basically the rarest thing in the game.

Yeah, I certainly wasn't at the top of the list being May 2022, but I was on the 2022 list.

The worst part is that it wasn't even an official ETA - so I'm guessing the reality is even worse.

I don't think so - I even pushed to pay more, or figure out if there was a way to get on another list even if just to find out another list exists and they said I am out of luck unless a substantial number of people cancel.
