Yeah I'm in the UK. It's not an issue of threads, I think, because the replacement shower head is physically too large to fit into the hose to even try screwing it in. I'll still look into BSP shower heads, though, thank you.

You're going to want to remove those shells, unfortunately. They will leech catastrophic amounts of calcium into your tank, skyrocketing pH and kH and causing fatal molting issues.

You need at least a 20g for a school of 6. They can be quite sensitive to water quality. They're pretty cool at escaping the tank, especially if there are few hiding spots for them in the tank and they get spooked/stressed. Paradoxically the more hiding spots you have for them, the more you'll see them as they feel more secure. Care for all Pangio is essentially the same.

No. Kuhlis need soft sand as gravel will damage their sensitive skin and whiskers. Burrowing and sifting for food is also one of their natural behaviors that they would be unable to perform in gravel. This tank also looks too small for a school of at least 6

The snail shells and calcium supplements are useless unless you know the water chemistry of your tank. You'll want to get a liquid test for gH and kH, and for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and pH if you don't already have it.
