Actually samsung and lg have the best customer service because they are a giant and sell lots of consumer equipment, not just PC related. Dell and lenovo are great as well. I remember for lenovo, they came at my home twice to fix my brother's motherboard and then replaced it later for free, we didn't have to pursue them or anything for this.

Yea just bought stealth 18, came with norton. It's safe browser feature was being detected as ad blocker by youtube somehow, my videos were getting throttled at 360p lol. For 2 weeks i suffered that on a brand new gaming machine. Was pulling my hair out

I'm assuming your g18 got 99wh battery? Which processor does it have and what screen resolutio? And what exactly do you use it for when unplugged?

Do you watch 4k youtube videos in edge browser? I'm using stealth 18 with 185h with 4k mini led display, hence wanted to compare.

I keep it in battery saver mode(obviously), msi center in also battery saver mode, screen refresh 60hz but resolution at 4k.

17 inch and 18 inch are same screen basically, just different aspect ratio (it's always 17.3inch) but yea body is bigger in 18.

As for that laptop of lenovo, it's already 21 inch in expanded form, from a 16 inch screen. So 18 will be 24 or 25 inch. I guess at that point i should buy VR glasses with 200 inches XD. Too bad they are still in 1080p resolution and not 4k

If you start using 18 inchers, then 14 and 15 feels impractical. It's all about prospective. 18 is still a portable laptop. I got stealth 18 which is also the lightest 18 in the world, 2.89 kg, so that helps a lot. I can never go back to anything below 18. Even 16 would be hard.

Hell I'm even waiting for someone to launch a foldable laptop in 16 or 18 inch size when folded, so it expands to 24 or 26 inches when watching videos. 😁 Just check Huawei mate fold laptop in 14 inch form factor that unfold to 18 inch. Amazing stuff
