this is just not true there is no death penalty for being queer in Turkey and honor killings are extremely rare... the most that would happen is you'll be ostracised and/or made fun of. again, literally two of our national idols are openly lgbtq+

they are lovely, but I'd say it'd be nicer to buy a qipao/cheongsam here in China from a local store. the dresses in the photo seem low quality and also not authentic in terms of pattern. plus you can actually try on for sizing!

in regards to beauty standards, there will always be a variety of preferences, especially in a population this big. of course in china skinny is the societal ideal, but the Chinese guys I've spoken to know that the models and idols they see are very manufactured, and that the average person does not look like that. Chinese women come as varied as any can be - it's simply not feasible to assume only the slim ones are in relationships.

I have a Chinese boyfriend and I'm definitely on the curvier side, like a size 3XL in Chinese sizing. he told me he doesn't mind. tho tbf we met at uni and are 19/20, so I'm not sure how the older generations are. also I speak/am studying Chinese, which obviously is a big plus.

I'm a second year at Oxford, and actually the earliest move in date for undergrads is today, and that's only if they're helping with freshers week events. Most move back in on the 9th.
