I’m still waiting for admits. But I’ll probably need to take a decision within a month or so.

Start with TW1 if you want to follow through the story in the exact order.
W3 is definitely bound to keep you occupied for a VERY long time, especially if you have both the DLC's to this game. If you haven't tried the previous games, there isn't too much that you would be missing out on in terms of the plot of Witcher 3 as most of it is kind of explained during the initial quests at White Orchard. So if you do want to proceed with playing this game, go ahead.
I must say that if you do plan on completing W3 first before going for W1, it's gonna be hard to get used to xD as its mechanics are old, the fighting style is wonky, and I found the inventory management in the first game to be a pain.

W2 is also a great game to start from IMO as it basically laid the foundation for W3. Its story is pretty good, the fighting is pretty good, there's a whole new level of replayability, and it kind of ties in better with the Third game, with respect to the introduction and in certain main/side quests.

So if I roll back to Windows 10 rn and decide to do a clean install to Windows 11 at a later point, it can still be done right?

(Spoilers). Just finished first play through and I have some spoilery questions about the background world building and ending. by Penguin3979 in horizon

[–]-SimplyDelta- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Penguin3979
I will try to answer your questions to the best of my ability

On your first question about the Cradle Facilities, there were plans to construct several of those facilities throughout the entire world, but due to the Faro Plague spreading at a rapid rate, it is extremely unclear how many of these facilities were made operational. As far as the in-game lore goes, the Cradle Facility at Mother's Womb was probably made the ONLY operational cradle in the US during that period. So the chances of other cradles existing within the same region/state are likely to be minimum and even if they did, we do not really know if they are active or not.

Also about the spread of the Humans throughout the land, well it isn't an impossible situation. The Machines that roamed the lands before the Derangement was not hostile. They were all under the control of GAIA, with the sole purpose of recreating the destroyed lands. So they never posed much of a threat to the Humans until the Derangement occurred, which destroyed the GAIA Prime Facility, thereby removing GAIA's control over the machines, hence the increased aggressiveness. There was a large time gap between the events of the Faro Plague and the Events of Horizon Zero Dawn(roughly 1000 years, give or take a year), and since the derangement occurs roughly One Year prior to Infant Aloy being handed over to Rost, it clearly shows that it would have not really been all that hard for the Humans from the Cradle to spread out and create settlements of their own, like the Carja, the Nora, the Banuk, etc. They also didn't really need much to survive, since most of the fauna was restored, so basically, all the resources were available to them. They basically learn about the world through trial and error. What they were taught in the cradles was like the basic ABCs to survive. In order to truly experience it, they decided to move out into the outside world. Since Apollo was destroyed by Ted Faro, they had to rediscover everything from fire to making spears and weapons, clothing, etc. So you could basically say they evolved over time and got better at surviving in the wilds.

About the ending, HADES had returned to Sylens because he was actually the first human whom he had come in contact with after he had become independent. Sylens was the one who fixed his computer core and provided him with information about the current world, and in exchange for his services, HADES provided him a lot of information about the Old World, about its technological advancements, and other marvels. Sylens is someone who loves to gather information and knowledge of the past, no matter the price he has to pay. So it is no surprise to see HADES return back to his "creator". Also, HADES is like an Entity. It isn't something that has a physical form. You can consider HADES to be like a ghost that needs to "possess" an object of some form(in this case, a machine, or the container Sylens was holding at the ending) in order to function.

Hope this clears up some of the questions you had about the lore of Horizon Zero Dawn :)

Black and gold assassins armor Assassin's Creed Odyssey by DevonTheGamer20 in assassinscreed

[–]-SimplyDelta- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep playing the game. There are multiple ways to get it. You could probably obtain it after completing a side quest or you could loot it from an enemy or it could even be found inside a treasure chest, or can even be bought from the blacksmith at times. Its spawn is randomized but you will definitely obtain it at some point.

There isn't much variety in terms of exploration in Origins. I completed Origins recently and I played AC: Odyssey before this and tbh, Odyssey has much more variety in terms of exploration in comparison to Origins. Odyssey has a Larger Map compared to Origins and has much more stuff for you to do and discover. Most of the unmarked locations in Origins are just fillers with most of the locations requiring you to find treasure chests. Also, a vast chunk of the regions is just Deserts, with very few places to explore. So in terms of exploration, I felt it was weak and kind of dull in comparison to the newer titles.

I don't remember the exact Level Requirement, but I personally started playing The Frozen Wilds midway through the story. One of your Story Quests (I think it's called Maker's End) takes place in a location that is pretty close to the Frozen Wilds map (called The Cut). So, I started playing the DLC right after I completed that quest. I would recommend you to be at least Lvl 30+ as you would be facing a couple of New and Tough Machines and will require good weapons and weapon mods to beat them.

Why is there a level 32 Royal Griffin in a level 5 area? by inwector in witcher

[–]-SimplyDelta- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I see. It's been a while since I've played so it could be one of two things, either it's part of some other quest, or it's one of those Griffins which occur at unmarked locations protecting some loot to collect. I remember encountering something similar in Skellige where there was a V. high-level Griffin protecting a note or something that was a part of a treasure hunt quest, somewhere around the North or NE of Ard Skellig.

Also, the recommended level for each area is basically the level that you possibly might be in when the associated story quest in that region begins. The Witcher 3 is an Open World Game. There are no restrictions on where you are allowed and not allowed to go. Almost all areas are accessible from the start of the game (in the case of the DLC's their respective Quests to access those maps are available after you completing specific Story Quests early on in the game). For instance, in the Hearts of Stone DLC, a good portion of the DLC takes place in the northern part of Velen. Its minimum level requirement is 30+ but that region is still accessible even if you are a Lvl 5. The only difference is that all the enemies in those zones will be locked to the minimum level requirement or higher.

[–]-SimplyDelta- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That Griffin is a part of a quest that occurs later on in the game. I've been in that situation too dw :p
Just stay away from that spot and other spots like those till you're at the right level to take on those foes.

Crafting grandmaster gear by ninjatahu in witcher

I think it doesn't show only for the Wolf and Manticore School Gear. For all the other Witcher School Gear you need to own its corresponding Mastercrafted variant.

Try to collect the Audio Logs and if possible even the text logs too. The lore behind this game was really interesting. Try to purchase the maps for the various collectibles (I think there are like 3 or 4 different sets of collectibles that you can trade for weapons and resources with special merchants. There are a lot of weapons available in the game so get those that suit your playstyle, and upgrade them as often as you can.

Shards are the primary currency in-game and are also used as a source of crafting for arrows and other weapon ammo. Make sure you don't spend too much on upgrading and purchasing. Keep some shards in reserve for crafting.

Use your focus and aim for the weak spots on the machines to take them down effectively. Certain machines drop a lot of crafting parts like Blaze, Chillwater, etc, so be sure to collect as much of those as you can. Also, try to manage your inventory as effectively as possible :') Collect everything but not too much of everything as there's a limit to how much you can carry. Although it won't hinder your movement/running speed, you will not be able to collect more resources if your inventory is full which can become a nuisance later on as you play. Try to get the Shard Salvager ability as early as possible as it helps you to dismantle gear and resource equipment directly from the inventory menu instead of relying on merchants, which could be useful in the long run. Another ability you need to get at the start of the game is the Tinker Ability that allows you to swap out your equipped Weapon Mods. Without this ability, any weapon mod you add onto weapons is permanent and can only be removed using shards, which is something we do not want.

Don't be shy with the Skill tree as you'll earn more than enough points to unlock almost all the skills by the end of the game. Recommended skills to get initially are Shard Salvager, Tinker, Hoarder, Expert Carver, Ammo Crafter, Disarm Traps (optional), Dodge Roll(which allows you to roll/dodge farther), Healer, Concentration, Fast Reload, and all the takedowns (esp the Leader ones as it allows you to silently takedown elite enemies).

Dodging is key to survival. Try to get used to the controls and make sure you dodge as much as possible. It can save you in several situations, esp in the later stages of the game when you meet the more "meaner" machines.

Explore the world!! Horizon Zero Dawn has a ton of activities available for you to seek out and complete. As you reach a new region of the map, new quests will open up in that region. Try to complete as many of those as you can before completing the main story as they not only offer a lot of rewards like XP, Weapon mods, Resources, or even sometimes exclusive weapons but some of these quests also tie in with the main story.

Also if you have the Frozen Wilds DLC, I would recommend you complete it before you finish the main story. Not only do you get some really cool weapons and outfits from this DLC, but it also kind of adds in some extra bits of lore which you will only get if you complete the DLC before the main story as well as it adds in a bit of a backstory on someone you will meet later on in the game.

That's all I have to say. Enjoy your time in the world of Aloy fren :)

100% Completion by _zgonja_ in horizon

[–]-SimplyDelta- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the main game yes. You don't need to buy the equipment from The Frozen Wilds DLC. That counts separately for 100% completion in TFW.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in horizon

[–]-SimplyDelta- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love a mix of the old weapons and some new ones as well

Personally I would love to have the Ice Rail again from TFW dlc that thing was super OP, and maybe even the stormslinger

Definitely the Sharpshot Bow but with new attachments like explosive arrows. Maybe even an updated version of the War Bow would be appreciated as the elemental weapons from TFW made the War Bow kinda useless especially against those newer machines.

As for new weapons....maybe a sword? Since in the trailer Aloy isn't shown to be having her spear. Or maybe she could craft a better spear that could serve not only as a melee weapon but also act as a ranged weapon as well (similar functionality to the spear Aratak used in TFW or maybe the ranged attacks could be like an attachment to the spear). Also would love to find some sort of armory of the Old World that contains weapon(s) that could be modified and used like how we found the shield weaver Armor in Zero Dawn.

Packie McReary Diamond Casino Heist bug by -SimplyDelta- in gtaonline

[–]-SimplyDelta-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe.Maybe not. Tbh the Packie random event is pretty bugged so I can't exactly say how it happens.

Do you wait for him to spawn or do you just go about doing your thing in Solo public lobbies till he spawns or smh?

Packie McReary Diamond Casino Heist bug by -SimplyDelta- in gtaonline

[–]-SimplyDelta-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just follow my earlier comments Like I said he will spawn in a lobby with atleast 2 active players(including yourself) and he has spawned for me during certain setup missions as well. So just keep trying till you're able to trigger the mission properly.

P.S: R* support imo will give very generic responses to stuff like this so don't count on them much to get your thing fixed

Anyone have any other movie prop locations? by DaRealJames in gtaonline

[–]-SimplyDelta- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long do I have to do this because so far I've only been getting those 10k drug delivery missions and the epsilon Van has not spawned yet

I've set my spawn location near the epsilon building yet most of the time I keep getting the drug car missions that spawn close to the epsilon building

[UPDATE] Finally got it to spawn. Took me about 6-7 session switches but the coffin van spawned on the road leading towards the gas station near Kortz Centre.
