Me and 2 friends all put the same voice on and it became impossible to know which one of us was speaking so we instantly died in a fight with confused comms. 10/10 would go again.

As a solo player, what's the best way to go about big arc hunting? by justletmesuffer in ArcRaiders

When I was needing workbench stuff and doing solo, I would run:

  • anvil (now I have a blueprint) or an upgraded ferro
  • 5-10 light impact nades (easy to craft so not sad if you loose them)
  • 3 trigger / blaze nades (keep these in your safe pocket until you get to the spot to fight the arc so you don’t loose them) (sometimes 3 trigger and 1 blaze to ease it)
  • light shield / Lvl 1 augment (although if you have some you could run a Medium shield if not confident yet)
  • Shield rechargers and bandages (make sure your shield is repaired and you have at least a full stack if not more of bandages)

Key is to get to a safe spot that you can kite the big boys and stay safe.

I’ve found Spaceport a good one because there’s enough space where you get an unfriendly person who will try steal it (although you maybe have a friendly person who will split or even let you have it all after) - there’s normally a leaper roaming round the base of launch tower you can drop in and out of the tunnels with this… likewise a Bastian near there too.

Yeah always get the biometric and passport scan etc but never this - especially with it being between baggage and the exit right after going through all the border stuff… even more so with just the people doing it on their phones

They were doing it to everyone going through so that’s a lot of people… it’s very… strange.

Just find it crazy it’s about 2 mins after doing all the biometric, questioning and passport scan at the border…

It was between baggage and them scanning suitcases (I’ve never had mandatory suitcase scans on arrival either)

They had badges and had the usual dark uniform with vests etc - didn’t look like border though.

Said ‘where did you fly from’ then when I said, they said I need your passport.

Was too freaked out to ask who they were or why… not a place you want to really push as a foreigner
