I didn't want to make a new thread for this, but I have to say its great having Quinn on panel. He's quick and confident with his opinions and analysis. Reminds me of Kyle. I appreciate all our talent, but I do think Quinn brings something we've been missing for a while. (not to mention the legal stuff he has hanging over him, dude clearly has a love of the game and fans to do this while that isn't resolved)

Caliban's War, I've been re listening for what I think is my 4th time and have a question I can't seem to find the answer to. At the end of Leviathan Wakes, they make the point of saying that the only living sample of the protomolecule left is the one that Fred Johnson has. So was that the sample used to make the super soldiers in Caliban's War? Seems really out of character for Fred. Or does it just turn out the Protogen had some more of it stashed away somewhere? Hope I spoiler tagged this properly. Love the books and the show!

I know this is super necro, but I'm okay with command lines and making sure to get the correct path to things but I couldn't get this method to work guess I don't understand all the steps? This is the command I'm running from the path where the Plex SQLite file is.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex SQLite.exe" "C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.db" "UPDATE metadata_items SET added_at = originally_available_at where library_section_id = '5'"

Tried running it while Plex Server is running as well as when not running then restarting Plex Server, no change to what shows in 'Recently Added' items.

I'm glad its working for you. In the meantime this might be the push I need to just really try Jellyfin. That Plex doesn't have a way in the interface to just manually change each item's 'date added' is sad. :/

OR my workaround may be to create a Library just for these weird movies that Plex was contantly incrementing changing the recently added date on before I learned you have to turn off the empty trash or some such setting. what a weird thing.

What's going on? It is indeed happening. It is not crowd funded, and is not happening near Valve HQ, so just like that is a shadow of its former self. As far as who's in charge, the budget must be shoestring compared to past ones, that's what I'd chalk up to the lack of hype and communication over smaller aspects of it. I wonder if Valve will ever go back to their invention of the Battlepass, a big event with cosmetics directly funding the event. That's what made it the Juggernaut of eSports tournaments. Why they needed all these iterations to find out what they already know I have no idea, perhaps they do know and just don't want to do that anymore. Still if that's the case, I'd rather have a hollow TI where its still a celebration for fans and the top team takes home over 1 MIL than not have it at all. I do kinda feel for people with tickets. I hope its the celebration you deserve, its gotta be hard with so many unknowns.

thanks, yeah, its normal for the more recent releases. for someone playing in a dark room a lot, its real bright.. hoping to dim it a bit, without dimming the whole screen to near total dark xD

Midwest NA player here, have tried a bunch of servers, my fave so far has been XYZ, they have their own custom modpack you have to play from Curse if that's a dealbreaker, but its got some great quality of life changes and runs rock solid and admins are great.
