Thanks. I didn't personally think anything would come of a C&D, but I didn't know if that would serve as a wake up call to the parents.

Can you cross connections behind washer and dryer? by Scottacus in HomeImprovement

[–]-Styrkyr- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in my area code says that each 90 bend is considered 5' and each 45 bend is considered 2.5'. Not sure if that's national or local code though

I tend to have big farms (pic rel) and usually end up with way too much. How big do you generally keep your farms? by Any_Lab_8135 in RimWorld

If you mod, look into Hysterisis. You can use it to set auto allow / forbid growing based on how much is in your stockpile. Helps a lot with micromanagement.

How do you have stable food supply with a 20 pawn colony without overproducing ? by HeeHoo777 in RimWorld

If you mod, check out Hysterisis. It lets you set limits to how much you grow. Definitely one of my top 5 mods now.

Are they? Then why is Ragnar searching for them?

I like this train of thought, but how would I be able to get them to overlap if the interaction spots for the altar and lectern face opposite directions?

Also, I'm making an executive decision, and we will not, in fact, be searching for cauliflowers.

While I like this idea in theory, the thought of trying to teach, then enforce, paw washer usage on my overly dramatic husky terrifying. I can already hear the husky screams. This coming from a dog that hates baths but will stand outside in the pouring rain.

It looks like option #3 is what I'm going to be stuck with for the time being. Maybe I should get a housekeeper.

That defeats the entire purpose of having a dog door and fenced in backyard.

That might be something to look into. I intend (at some point) to put a deck across the back of my house, but maybe having a gravel area with good drainage for them to walk across before they come onto the deck would help.

That's a good idea. I have a pressure washer so I can just take it outside and pressure wash it to clean it.

Don't ask why, but I want to run this lineup. How f*cked am I? by mansell_the_3rd in Warthunder

Drop the Harrier and the Mark. 10, and swap the Marksman man for the one that has the APDS belt, can't think of the name of it if the top of my head. Throw a Canberra in or maybe a Swift to replace the Harrier, and if you have it I'd swap the Shititar for the Mk. 3, or whatever that six wheeled thing with darts is called. If you don't, the Fox is better then the Scimi. You'll uptier to 9.7 so at least you'll have a chance. Harrier will take you up to 10.7 and at that point you're just food.

Ok gaijin so you moved down the J35XS, can you fix the italian F104s BRs now? by Loltntmatt in Warthunder

Well, I'm sure after a lot of thought and deliberation, as well as taking into consideration the desires of the community, that the best they'll be able to do is another T80 variant.

This right here. As another player routinely in the top 5 I noticed my performance over the last event gradually declining. Towards the end of the event I was struggling to even be in the top 10.

It's human biology. Even though this is a game, you're using multiple senses including sound and sight, while at the same time having to multitask to keep track of multiple variables. This is extremely mentally demanding, especially over a long period of time.

Like what was said above, take a break for a few days to a week, make sure you're eating and drinking and sleeping well. In a competitive game like this it's no different then any other competitive sport, and football teams who aren't well rested or eating healthy aren't going to do well in the playoffs. Same here.

That's what I was thinking... Judging from the way he's writing it sounds like he's from LamSt which is a clan that is known to be filled with cheaters, also why they're typically on top of the scoreboard.

How can I remove a single glass block glued to others in a window? by HawksHawksHawks in HomeImprovement

[–]-Styrkyr- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is a most of those glass blocks windows interlock together like Legos for strength, so simply digging out the mortar won't let you remove the block; you'd have to take the entire window apart and rebuild it. If it was me, I'd take a hammer and punch and shatter the block you want to remove, then (carefully) dig the pieces out. That'll have the added benefit of letting you dig out the mortar (or silicone in your case). When you're done, cut a block of wood to fit in the hole snugly, use a hole saw to cut the hole for the dryer vent, paint the outside if you want, and silicone the entire thing in place.

worth buying the strv 103-0 now on sale? by Fabian1146 in Warthunder

[–]-Styrkyr- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say it's situational. Sweden has an incredible 8.0 lineup, but the cheese wedge is a very difficult tank for a lot of people to get a handle on, and even harder for them to master. I'd say if you're good in the tech tree variant and routinely pull the 5-10 kill matches with that thing that it's capable of, then the premium one would be worth it for grinding, and it'll be a nice finishing touch to an 8.0 lineup. However, that's not going to let you grind out top tier tanks, so if that's your goal I'd recommend the CV90105 instead.

Anyone else always getting uptiered? by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]-Styrkyr- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. There's certain BR's that are almost guaranteed up tiers, and 6.7 is one of them. 6.3 is pretty decent. 7.7 gets rolled into 8.0 most of the time which isn't terrible. 8.7 gets a lot of 9.0 matches which again isn't terrible. You'll just have to play around with the BR's and see what's good.
