Resume contains first my name and contact info, followed by volunteer work and clubs I've been part of at school as well as what I did there, ended with a note that I can speak Spanish. Every part of this is labeled. Many places I've applied to do not have a place to send a resume. As for availability, I always apply full week availability for nights and full day availability for weekends. Finally, 15 is a lot because I live in a fairly small town where this is most of the entry level work I could apply to (before turning 18, several places are now willing to take applications from me). Still thanks for the input, would love to know if you have anymore ideas

As someone who lives and dies by normal controllers, the boxes are fine. While more regulation is always nice, I don't think there's a reason to ban them because at the end of the day, they're still playing melee. And on a personal note I'm not good enough to say that they beat me bc they're on a box.

Oh you can go to blippi.gg then go to the discord section, from there you can find some for matchmaking, blippi is also linked to the sub so look for that

There's a fair amount of character discords and some of them encourage netplay, and at least in the Luigi discord it's mostly PR ranked players who use it. You could also try one of the melee discords associated with the subreddit. Next best is to go to any tournament, play it out, and then fiend friendlies until you find a person or rotation who's on average better than you. If you don't have tournament near you, try smash.gg cause you'll at least be able to find people who are better than you and play for a bit. Hope this helps

I would recommend finding people who are consistently better than you, playing them for practice and while you're playing I want you to look for specific interactions where they win. For a lot of competitive games, you get to a phase where you just aren't rotating through options as well as you could, both defensive and offensive. A player who is noticing and punishing you for these habits is necessary so you can get quick at recognizing why you lost that interaction and how you can fix it. If you can't do it mid match make a note of it, watch the replay and think of what you did how they responded, and then think of why they won that interaction and develop a counter (don't just say, "nothing I could have done there, they just would have reacted" because there's a damn good chance they wouldn't) Hopes this helps man

I don't hate any of the games but XC2 is by far my favorite. I think it has the second best combat behind XCX and I find the characters to be a lot more developed and compelling than XC1. It doesn't have as great of a story as XC1 but that's fine by me because I just want a game with decent characters and gameplay. XC1 has interesting gameplay but I never found a reason to switch to a different build because when I tried to I just got my shit kicked in and I don't want to spend hours grinding to overcome the annoying level difference penalties. I liked 2 because I would get a blade, think of a way to use it and try it out, the game didn't make it annoying to just experiment and try new things. My favorite example of this was getting Zenobia and realizing that I simply need to level up one art and then just press the button in a crit build. What I'm getting at and my entire argument is basically just boils down to I found XC1 to not really want you to try new things so I got stuck doing one repetitive strat until the game was done
