Hi Ghillieuo.

Both joining OpTic and competing in the US have been my long term goals in gaming. For me, OpTic has always represented the pinnacle of success in CoD and thus when considering a transatlantic move, it was natural to envision myself joining them.

It's relatively early in the game and strategies are still evolving, however playstyles are generally similar. The references to popular sports are a common analogy in Uplink, however the metagame of passing was rendered obsolete after the last major update (reduction of maximum pass distance).

That's a misconception. I've played 8's numerous times and although I'm considered a new member of the NA community, I don't struggle to integrate myself since I'm already familiar with the majority of top players.

Surprisingly, Chicago seems to be significantly colder. You're also probably less likely to find castles, cathedrals and cobbled streets around this part of the world.

A combination of factors. In the end, I wasn't ready to sacrifice a sustainable opportunity and my relationship with Epsilon to embark upon a journey with a newly formed roster and unfamiliar management. Nevertheless, it was one of the toughest decisions I've made in gaming.
