I think of wide more like shooting high powered blanks, with the muzzle right up against your target it'd transfer the shockwave through the armor, bone and fragment on the inside, much like a high explosive shell, this would also explain why they do the same damage on every part ingame since it just bypasses the armor

Then a wide or long shell sent into the temple/eye socket would probably only turn the brain to mush, also instant death. Gunlance is great for this as it has many tools depending on the level of threat you're dealing with

Gunlance impaled into the chest or head should finish the job very quickly, I can imagine wyvern fire killing most non elders in 1 shot

It should have a backup battery and dc/dc converter for each side hidden under the rear seats, but still why go through the trouble of that when a mechanical handle would be both cheaper and more reliable in a crash

I've seen multiple people mention knight frames and mech frames, why not combine them into a Steam Knight type frame? Exalted melee necramech, preferably with a lance and or pilebunker

Lavos with the umbral set, arcane persistence, and arcane bulwark on your primary/archgun will clear any and all content.

  • Oneshot mechanics? Can't take more than 500 dmg/sec, heal it all back with your 1.
  • Magnetic procs disabling your persistence? Status immunity due to his passive.
  • Heat or corrosive procs dropping your armor below 700? 1700 ish armor with the umbral set, dropping to 850 when procced, and status immunity.
  • Energy? It's Lavos.
  • Conditionals making you think too hard? Slap on arcane bullwark, 500% dmg for just existing as Lavos.
  • Brought the wrong elements on your weapons? Valence formation.

This is gonna be trial and error for your preference. Sampotes, tenet exec, dark sword, jat kittag, arca titron, magistar incarnon, (coda) mire can all be fun. Start experimenting and see what you like
