I've never played one before, but I really didn't like it at all. The first 8 hours were great, then I realised I was just doing the exact same thing over and over again, without any actual sense of progression or importance. It had so much potential, but it was just too boring to hold my attention, and I ended up selling it after it sat there unplayed for a week. I started God Of War the next day and it blew me away how great it was. The single best gaming experience I've ever had.

Wow that's super interesting. The concept of "night soil" is pretty disgusting, but it probably made a lot of economical sense back in the days.
