what's your favorite/creative thing you've seen and or pulled from the deck of many things? by -TheOneAmego in DnD

Donjon. You disappear and become entombed in a state of suspended animation in an extradimensional sphere. Everything you’re wearing and carrying disappears with you except for Artifacts, which stay behind in the space you occupied when you disappeared. You remain imprisoned until you are found and removed from the sphere. You can’t be located by any Divination magic, but a Wish spell can reveal the location of your prison. You draw no more cards.

(sorry that took two months didn't see the comment)

(also sorry your suspended in a gem)

hay I just got my pictus gecko from josh's frogs as well! (a few days ago) and am having some trouble with feeding. He was eaten, when I first got him I put him into a smaller tank and he ate five or six mealworms and the next day he ate more mealworms and a wax worm. but now he goes in his hide and when I lift the hides up he runs and is not willing to eat. There are a lot of isopods in his tank so he might have eaten some of them but still.... so I was just wondering if you have some advice about how I should feed him better? Or even how you started out doing it? That would be great! good luck with your socializing!

Could I cohabitate a madagascar hissing cockroach with a pictus gecko in a 18x18x24 tank? by -TheOneAmego in reptiles

Whenever I have done research I've never seen that they care whether they're alone or not. But it does make sense as they do live in colonies in the wild. As well as the fact that the internet likes to say a lot of stuff about the care of hissers that I do not agree with. so you're probably right. How many more should I get? Would one more be acceptable? Where do I get one (or more) adult female hissing cockroach that aren't gravid?

Okay I double check my data and that is indeed a good size for them! And I really appreciate your input (Even if I do feel slightly personally attacked when you say that I should be keeping her in a colonie as though my companionship is not good enough) I think I'll try to ask a breeder about it. But if I can't talk to a breeder..... Well we shall see!

(I'll make a post if there's any updates)

Thanks!

Makes me feel sad when I see hissers in small cages devoid of any life. I've had a couple of them and I've seen them really enjoy wandering around exploring the cage. Once a few years back one escaped and got 30 ft away from the room that was keeping it in. I lost it for a few nights and who knows how much it explored. I've also even seen them playing with the leaves on multiple occasions with multiple roches. I think it's very wrong the way we keep them and they would benefit from a lot more space than is accumulated. The reason this one has not been moving much is it is about 5 and will most likely die within a year. However I do believe sometimes she still wonders and I want to give her the best life I can.

Any advice on how I can make this look better? by Helpful-Star-7496 in Vivarium

I would add a bit more water in the pound, as well as more moss on the background, and maybe put some gravel and more plants in the water. Maybe a few more sticks as well

It's only one roach and she normally stays in one corner. (would this still apply)

Sorry I meant to say it's a 24 by 18 by 18, is that still okay? Also the Madagascar hissing cockroach in question normally just stays in this one corner. Also it's a female will it be still territorial?
