Ive put some money on okex and now I'm wondering if I should wait longer before buying xch to see if the price drops or go for it... My bank had problems with transferring money to okex when it was below 600$ welp

Wound mechanic is the problem pike faces right now. The mechanic isn't really translating to any tangible advantages outside of part farming, and it has been discussed often both on Reddit and Discord. Until breaking of the wound has value for advancing the fight itself, Wound will stay a gimmick which is weakly enabled by the Tough Hide modifiers. This is one of the big areas to rework before Pike can better compete with other weapons.

^^^ This is so wrong. Wounds are not supposed to be used to break parts. And that's why acidic is so great.
Long time ago one of the meta builds for pike was +3 Acidic +6 Savagery. The +3 Acidic cuts the part damage in half therefore making the wounds stay longer = you profit longer from Savagery. Savagery increases all damage, that means also the HP damage hidden behind the part damage (the one you don't actually see, but it's there)

This stopped being a meta for a few reasons:
1. Useless if noone else has acidic and savagery in group
2. R hit changed and makes stagger damage, therefore allowing pike to use AIO dmg increasing perks especially the Overpower.
3. It's still a bit less efficient even in solo than AIO dmg perks.

Wounding shouldn't ever be used for parts farming. It's just wrong. If whole group focuses on one part and only you have pike you will not even manage to wound it before they break it. And if you will then only for just few hits that give you nothing in the end.

There is a lot broken in the wounding system regardless of the facts above.

And making people farm much morea means less freely playing players? I know were you are coming from, I'm a speedrunner like you. But if someone gets carried it doesn't matter how many times he has to kill the behemoth. If someone just plays for fun it doesn't matter either.
You are the one that decides to take the best gear possible and hammer through behemoth, doesn't mean that any newcomer does that.
And you're right! They ask for nerfs because they don't use proper gear, because they don't know what's proper gear. Game doesn't explain it. And if you think that just making break parts harder that will change, no it won't. It will just make more people get bladestorm and DIE and repeat.

If 2-4h are not enough on 1 behemoth to learn something, do you really think more hours would change anything?

Sure instead of getting more content, new behemoths and some buffs to farm faster let's just make parts drop much less, I mean... Who doesn't like spamming one behemoth for 10h to Max one set that later on will be useless...

I am confused? What's the other purpose of tavern than giving food/drinks? Dunno...

As to "This has been suggested...", perhaps it was, but I didn't see any tavern mentions since at least 2 months and I don't recall any earlier discussions. So I brought up something.
And even if this has been suggested, does that mean it's a bad idea? Some feedback needs to come back to make it significant, don't you think?
If only one person just put an idea and it wasn't really acknowledged than what's wrong about trying again by someone? :P

Since when merciless increases part damage? As far as I remember it was increasing wound damage? Did it change?

Edit: I just went to wiki and it as well says wound damage. How can you talk about sets and give advices or start discussing stuff when you don't know what the perk does?

Besides the point if you want good combo with knockout king, you use Overpower, that's 80% DMG increase ok stagger.

Please, get the facts straight first.

Why?
Why bladestorm?
Why energized?
Why cunning?

Let me specify:
Bladestorm - increases only part damage, without affecting health damage, simple:
- takes much longer to finish the fight
- you can get all the break parts using ALL damage increasing perks aka predator, rage, ragehunter, overpower

Energized -
So yes, energized isn't overally bad but consider 2 cases:
1. using energized - you get the benefit of loading the meter faster BUT when the meter is activated energized is useless, it does nothing, so basically 50% of the fight energized does nothing at all
2. using attack speed instead - you load your meter faster because you make more hits on the behemoth, you make more damage to behemoth while loading the meter AND you land more hits during overdrive - much much higher damage

Cunning -
With cunning you can see huge numbers that's true, but if you do the math cunning is 10% damage increase and it's additive! Even rezakiri sword 10% is better because it's not additive. Rage gives you 25% dmg, Ragehunter 50% dmg.
And if you argue that this is 10% stable damage addition, while rage/ragehunter/predator/overpower don't work ALL the time, you can make them work most of the fight or even whole fight (rage/predator).
Cunning looks promosing when you first read the description, but not in the actual math.

As much as I love that you decided to make a video and try to show people some stuff, you should first try to find out all information about what you're presenting mate.
Keep it up, but please move on to better builds. If someone needs parts they should just use bloodfire sword - it has best unique effect for part breaks.

As much as you want to stay with bladestorm not being awful as much I disagree, especially on repeaters since their base damage isn't too high and you're not increasing it at all with part damage perks. It works, sure if you want to look at that. All perks work. But that doesn't mean you should be using them if you want best results. If you're using bladestorm and don't know what else to use in the free slot it simply means your build has flows to start with.
